There is so much to take from these games when things get really rough, great to see you two talking about the game, believe it or not, this is what I think games for most people look like, weird things happening all the time and most of us have no idea how to make it stop or how to react when games go like this. Sometimes it feels like people only want to play easy games and give up if something is slightly off, very weird. Great stuff!

Yes that's it, is not a just a problem of skill, it's mental dissonance. Many players persevere playing dota even when they don't feel well, or when they just want an easy fix of fun. Dota cannot give you that most of the times, but they don't change attitude anyway. It's like putting your hand on fire 999 times and expect it won't hurt the 1000 time. I don't mean that Dota can only be played when you give 100%, but surely you will not have fun if you go into it like if you were going to watch a movie on netflix...

I seriously don't understand how people can act like this KOTL and have any respect for themselves. I did have a good time with someone like him on my team tho: playing troll, just got aegis and team took a bad fight(running into the Dire triangle one at a time without vision, by the time I got from the pit to Midlane 2 were dead and a 3rd was dying). I didn't join because I didn't want to feed aegis and my pudge declared I "didn't deserve to win" so he proceeded to afk. Couple of minutes later, I'm farming our ancients and the enemy goes on me one at a time. I 1v5 solo killed their whole team, and won that game. Feltgoodman :)

Thats why i am a master of few heroes, cheese tends to not affect me. ;) Also this is why i play off meta heroes/strats i don't want the enemy to read my mind, and by time they figure me out they already lost. Dota is an information game and that's how i reliably dominate my games, make my self unreadable while knowing how to react at every moment. Your interpretation of NA Server is spot on, people will not respect you unless you make them respect you that includes your teammates, coordination and team-play is non-existent in most of your NA Pub matches. You play for yourself and win for yourself teammates are just extras in your movie.

I am a new player, but when I played mid I used to walk to their side to put the ward without realising their tower could see me. But since it's night at the start, why don't we put the wards on their side? Just because they could see us warding and would deward?

Pretty much. If you don't have a ward up, they have vision advantage and you have to play safe anytime anyone isn't showing on map. It also gives them gold and xp, meaning they'll probably hit lvls 2, 3, and 6 faster than you, which they can use to push you out of lane or kill you.

It's the sole reason enemy went with invoker - mk does nothing about tornado, even if enemy gets to proc jingu - you just purge it instantly. MK is putting himself at a disadvantage to get to 4 stacks of passive and gains advantage when the passive procs. If you don't get to land hits/boundless strike on a creepwave with active buff - you're losing your trades

I know it’s just a game but honestly watching this is so demotivating to ever try and raise mmr. when I was guardian I thought if I raise to legend I can finally unmute players and communicate, then I got to legend 3 and just started losing back to archon cause almost every game there’s at least 2 players who don’t play their role or are boosted/greifing, not to mention the occasional smurfs who pick morphing or ember mid and stomp the game. and now seeing this happens often even in such immortal games makes me wonder why play at all? why not just play a solo RPG game with a good story? I play in EU btw. still I very much appreciate watching pro games or streamers such as bsj.

To be fair to the kotl he is a 1/9 MK who is a elusive hero who is actively streaming... kinda hard to be elusive when everyone knows where the fuck you are. It does not matter whether it is a 1000mmr game or a 9000 mmr game, if your 1/9 core aint no one going to give a fuck what you have to say or think about the game sense. This happens almost everytime BSJ streams and plays MK. not to mention the enemy team knowing 100% of the time where he and is team members are. Streaming actively griefs your own games. I dont think BSJ even has a delay on his streams.

Mm, sorry if I'm being rude but, why is KOTL's call about "agh's" being a bad first item for mid mk is considered wrong? My point of view: Look at Topson MK... he almost never buys "agh's" even in late game, and he wins with MK like most of the games. The thing is if you buy "orb of corrosion" , hood of defiance and phase boots instead of PT(PT is for farming), you get a hero who has stun,reliable crit,magic dmg nuke which slows enemies, mobility, easy set up for a gank, reliable life steal, augmentation of any attacking item in his ulti, armor in ulti. "The hero just needs to survive and it will kill everybody" - Topson once said in his stream. I think "agh's" MK is griefing himself of free MMR with this hero. And I think Topson is on top of the dota world not for a coincidence.

EU servers in MMR are actually the same shit. There is no better one. Full of toxic players, supports that play passive since min 1 with no warding; players that claim to be your next dota teacher (very often from UK), when dont even know how to play your hero and how does it work. I stopped to play dota for 1 year, all of 2019/20 because of this. I restarted to play recently but with the same result. Another year, but same shit

@@pewwwwooop i have 10k, anything below 10k is absolutely unplayable, even at 9k i get too many griefers and item destroyers and so on. i recently got unlucky and my internet went off twice in a row lost 2k behavior score cause of it, was at 7.8 or something like that, it was literally unplayable i lost over 400 mmr in like 2 days, i couldnt win a single game no matter how well i played and how hard i tried. had to play turbo for a month to get back to 10k again to play ranked again.
