It's really a spectacle in itself. It showcases how some "celebrities" are more or less completely out of touch with reality; how far gone they are in their own little bubble; Dermot tried so hard to play it completely cool and be so serious on an anti-talk show talk show, etc etc. Meanwhile, you have people like Lizzo, who when was asked to come on the show, not only did she agree, but she was actually THE SHOW this episode. She took the ball and ran with it. Celebrities like her has her finger on the pulse of the audience. The fact that we see both ends of the spectrum of celebrities on this show, especially this skit alone, makes for amazing television. Eric Andre hit the fukken jackpot, and I hope he has the drive for at least one more season. Cheers 🍻
