Tony had the house band at the well known Palomino in North Hollywood California way back when I was a kid, around 1970. Glad he’s still keeping it country even if his voice is a little gravelly now. Looks like he’s playing a Grammer guitar. Probably the best acoustic guitar ever made for country music, they’re hen’s teeth to find one nowadays. Some of these singers should listen to “Farewell Party” as it was sung by Lawton Williams, the guy who wrote it. Lawton sang it at a moderate tempo. Gene Watson came along and sang it so slow it sounded like he was on his way to his own autopsy. Ever since, it’s been sung super slow. If you can’t find Lawton Williams’ record, Jimmy Dickens’ version on Columbia is almost as good.
