Great counter, just worried once they have the hands connected on their side of the kimura that I wouldn't be able to rotate it back so it's an anticipated movement that has to beat their connection.

In my dreams I can swim that arm through once they have established a kimura grip. In my experience their two on one is simply too strong to make this work unless I do it prior to locking the kimura grip. Once they have wrist control I am forced to drive that kimura shoulder in to them develop a lot of pressure, extend their kimura grip to weaken it, and then I can swim my arm free.

To prevent this counter, grab the hand and twist the wrist so he can't make a fist and reverse you.

I'm no where near quick enough to pull this off. I tried this at class last night and needless to say, I got my arm torn off because I wasn't fast enough coming through the 'pocket'. Not a knock on the technique itself, that's pretty legit, just have to be switched on when you're trying it otherwise you can almost throw yourself into danger.
