Hi, thanks for watching our video - if you like our approach to Wing Chun and would like to see more, please join and support my own Sifu, Mr Derek Fung, direct student of Mr Yip Man himself. Now 80 years old, he is one of the last masters of his generation still teaching, and the only one that you can talk to and ask questions of directly.
You can do so by joining here:

The Wing Chun training maxim "Loi Lau Hoi Sung, Lat Sau Jik Chung" is printed on the back of our school's training uniforms because in our style, it is literally behind everything that we try to do.
Many students can state the translation which roughly means "Receive what comes, follow what leaves, on loss of contact, rush in", but how exactly do you apply this accurately to your training? Here is Pt.1 in our exploration of this idea, specifically:
1) How do we receive force directed at us, instead of just resisting it or trying to block punches?
2) How do we stick or follow our opponents hands once we have made contact?
3) What do we do and where do we target when we lose contact with our opponents hands?
