Thanks guys for this video! I decided to do the Essex Serpent yesterday, thanks to your video and had an absolutely amazing time in the summer sun! Who would believe that such amazing gravel trails can be found just a short train ride out of central London? 🤘

We were surprised at how good it was. All we had to go on was a few instagram pics prior, so it was nice to put it out there for others to appreciate....really happy you enjoyed the route, and thanks for your feedback it's truly appreciated. 👍🏻

Nice video, great route and I like your commentary with the info 👍 I also appreciate all the work you put into your videos, so 9/10. You get 10/10 when you manage to get those nice insect/flower shots in focus! 😅

Great video guys, I live in Little Dunmow, and I am a keen rider and have never heard of the ride, thanks for highlighting it. PS Love the HUb great food.

@AndySmith-xc9ni Andy, I only came across this and the Maldon Wyrm by chance. The hub is definitely a highlight. Safe riding 👍🏻

@ISF77 only a few sections at the top end, so 95% was new to me.

Have to try this again, rode it April 2023 after the wettest March in 40 years. It was grim.

@sing_cycle_referee that weather reminds me how I started Wolf Way in May. You certainly need some good weather to get the best out of these tracks/ trails - best of luck next time you ride it 👍🏻

Ride with gps route / gpx can be found here: ridewithgps.com/routes/39856498 (I imported this into STRAVA with no issues highlighted). I've later found out that the Komoot link says "some portions of the Tour may require you to push your bike" - I hadn't seen this prior to riding this route but want to highlight; it is down to yourselves to make sense where to ride but please respect any signs and shared spaces particularly where there are pedestrians.
