Lovely film! Air tight opening minute and 25; I love how much like a film's opening credits it reads. Not a shot too long or too short through the whole thing as well. And while I'm not exactly tired of static shots of trains passing by, I appreciate how much variety in subject there is here. I especially appreciate the view we get out the rear of the caboose at 7:27. I've seen that view in historical film a fair bit, and that connected this video to that tradition for me. It doesn't end as strong as it started but I'm not sure what I would have, or indeed you _could_ have done differently. And its a nice outro shot anyway. Good stuff!

So engine 40 was running in the video but where are the other engines like 97 and 3025 then

They only operate multiple Engines if there is demand enough to do so. Burning 1000s of pounds of coal and using a day on their 1472 wastes both Money and Boiler Time if there is no good reason to fire the Engine. It needs to make money for them, that's why they're in business.
