That's beautiful! UK Owatrol never worked like that for me, but I never used it like you did. So another bottle on order and I'll use it in the same quantities that you did here. Tammy, did you hear about Owatrol making a cell making formula now? It's called Owatrol Aussie-Trol. I don't think many Brits will be buying it as it's so expensive. Owatrol sent me some and i'm not impressed so far - but I got a lot to learn, I still consider myself a newbie.

golden produces cells and artist loft paints give many cells . that's the difference

I think it's the decoart 24k gold that produces the big cells. Any Metallic will give cells but decoart is the big cell maker 😊 see Gina de Luca on KZbin

I also have this floatrol but there were no cells without silicone oil. Isn't in the Amsterdam white a cell activator? I've heard this before, but it doesn't say anything on the box.

Hi Tammy. Is that the new version that Owatrol have just brought out called AusTrol? We in the UK had been asking them if we could get them to produce Owatrol with the Aussie ingredients. The new one is very different to the old one for cells. The old version isn't brilliant. However - they are charging an absolute small fortune for it here and most of us are boycotting it til they become more reasonable. I just thought your followers need to know about the 2 versions before they go spending a fortune. Thank you.

@@lydiaofarrell1516 It's about £36 for just 500 ml plus postage. So about £80 a litre if you're thinking of getting some! It's cheaper to get Aussie Floetrol shipped over. It's only available on the Owatrol website (if it's even been released yet). People who have been sent a sample seem to be getting fair-middling results.

I just love your videos, you are such an inspiration. I must say, my Owatrol floetrol is so so much thicker (bought in Norway), and I have really have struggled with the cells lately. I found out that i need more paint, to that thick floetrol. Much more pain than usual. And of course add water, because it is to thick. I don't get why there is so much difference in the consistancy, to the same brand.

Hi Tammy I loved this video. I am currently experimenting with Floetrol made in France. I have not been able to make cells yet and am sad about it. I keep watching videos to learn more about Pouring and will try what I learned here: mix floetrol in all colors and leave the paint with the same consistency, then apply the open cup technique. I think the pillow or background paint, has the same ingredients and equal consistency. Is that correct? I hope you are lucky enough to answer these questions for me. Cheers Tammy!

Thankyou for this from a fan in the UK. I've just come across this video. I've avoided Owatrol since trying it once and getting a rubbish result (probably down to my lack of experience). This has spurred me on to have another go and hopefully then be able to use this much cheaper product that's easy to get hold of here in the UK. You also made me laugh out loud. I have used the Owatrol in the past but never with these results. I wonder if it is the paint. Next video let's see how it works wiwth other brands of paint. Love the colors you chose. Looking forward to to follow up experiments. The foils are to die for gorgeous. Do you have to use transparent paints to have them show? Be well my mentor wizard.
