Tata guys You really really need to work on your fit & finish, Electronic stability and service quality. This is a make or break time for you. Myself & several others are really facing challenges. Also, please launch a totally new model, instead of carrying forward 15 year platforms & having lookalikes in different price ranges. Not a proud owner. Although passionately wanting you to win❤

At about 44:50, the explanation on suspension dynamics finally explains what I always felt was the best part of the Nexon EV - with a weight distribution approximately equal on front and rear axles, the Nexon EV behaves like a FWD mid-engine car. And takes me back to the late '70s/early '80s of pelting on the roads near Marseille in a Citroen DS en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_DS

As a customer and industry watcher, my prediction is that the most important part on customer buying decisions will be in after-sales, spares and service, on which there is not much of a debate. I realise this every time I pass an MGP store not too far from my home and then match that with the experience of trying to get spares from other brand showrooms/workshops. In addition, dedicated EV workshops, again. And again. No debate there either.

I am using Tata Nexon EV since last 4.5 years. I can’t go back to ICE cars now due to pleasure of driving EV. The car is working great so far however looking at a lot of issues reported by others and poor servicing support, I feel bit sceptical while taking it out on long drive.

Most of the myths that Mr Anand is listing as myths are unfortunately very real and even he knows that. A couple of example: 1. Water wading. While water might not ingress into the battery pack or as end users we do not know if it is, cars are stalling left and right in regular rains because the HV cable connectors pick up moisture and the car stalls throwing a HV critical error. The car then needs to be towed for the technician to clean the connectors and plug them back in. i myself am aware of atleast 30-40 cars that reported this issue across india. 2. Mr Anand is proudly claiming 10 years of life or more for their battery packs... 1000's of EV ( i hear about atleast 3-4 each day) whose battery packs are faulty and will throw a HV critical error at 20 or 30% SOC. the car is stalled, the owner is stranded, needs towing to the serivce centers. The service center will claim they reset and did software update and issue is fixed. The same issue happens again and again. After torturing the owners for 3-4 times and taking him and his family through a lot of pain, tata will then talk about battery pack replacement. All this within the 1st year of ownership. There have been multiple cases of 2nd and even 3rd replaced battery packs having the same problem. There is a problem with TATA EV cells, period. TATA very well knows it since there are multiple EV's with the same problems sitting in their service centers waiting for battery replacement everyday. Looks like it is costing TATA a lot to do these replacements, so they have been coming up with ugly ways to deny warranty replacement. eg: there is a scratch on the battery case (note that the battery pack is mounted at the botton of the car, so minor wear and tear is inevitable) and thats why the battery is causing a problem. you need to claim warranty. How much more cheap can TATA behave to cover up their own crap batteries. such a SHAME! As a TATA ev owner myself, feel so irritated listening to TATA doing proud interviews while robbing so many innocent customers of their life's savings and peace of mind.

I am Elc engr having Nexon ev. Sorry to contradict with Mr Anand Gulkarni ji , there are lot of lacuna I observed. Safety need to be ensured 100% with zero error possibility. The air bag ECU is just kept at floor level in passenger seat below which is first to get affected when water comes in. There is no emergency stop button to disconnect HV battery . Battery balancing never happens or customer never know what is happening when there is cell capacity difference. No manual input to initiate a cell balancing. Why not the battery connectors are left at bottom most level where water can come in contact frequently during rain instead the connection may be brought out much higher level. The electrical connectors are compromised in water proof. Once water comes in cabin, car looses warranty. Rediculous as the bottom floor itself have open holes for free water entry. You should have taken along with customers who own Nexon for 2 years for actaual feed back to improving

I cancelled my booking for Tata Curvv after I saw Windsor EV (I didn't buy it). Tata heavily marketed Curvv as a Born EV. But the space inside was miserable and had a bump too in the rear. Tata needs to learn from Mahindra on how to innovate and deliver best products for customers (Thar / XUV / BE etc). In spite of giving half baked products like Nexon they priced it very high, in contrast to what Mr Anand is claiming here. This effort now to meet the press and explain is also to do a patch up job, because of dwindling sales. Unless they bring real value products like Mahindra, Tata is going to lose its game.

Even for nexon 45 , the accuator problem isnt solved yet. Why do tata still. Shy away from protection cover for it as slushy muddy things getting accumalted to the ccs 2 portion is causing issues and was pointes out many times ecen from first generation The tata sc isnt fully capble to do many things. Tata underbody battery protection case reliability and tata taco teams blaming customers for hv battery issues and denying warranty for scratches on it was going on for some time. Which is like causing issues to customers

This whole interview seems like TATA justifying ICE conversion is better but they surely have dropped the ball now. Somewhere forgot to innovate and Mahindra took over by surprise. Hats off to Mahindra to actually bring a ground up EV and invest in this rather than doing jugaad. Also shame on TATA for still not acknowledging HV error that is plaguing their EVs.

Tata's double standards. You wanted and even now wants people to buy EV even when there wasn't EV charging infrastructure. Buy you as a company is not ready to provide required technology like faster charging rates because infrastructure isn't ready at the moment😂😂. You want people to pay higher price for your EV and keep it for 10 years or more but stick to current charging speed👏👏. Tata has such limited thoughts and that's why there is no progress or is that you do not progress in technology and that's why you comeup with such reasoning .
