I see that is exactly how their sistership was falling apart even if they didn´t really want it to. they just didn´t fit eachothers lifes. And i love Petunia but she was being too mean to Lily and she must felt bad when Lily passed away and she hasn´t made a peace with her. I think you got their dynamic very good! And I love James using phone in the beginning. Prongs you did it!!

Here is my headcanon: In late 1977, James met Lily's parents for the first time. Lily's father (let's call him Phil Evans) was initially wary and reluctant about meeting James because his meetings with Petunia's fiancee Vernon were not the best and he was wondering what if this one (Lily's boyfriend) is worse, but by the end of the meeting Lily's father's worries evaporated completely. *Mr and Mrs Evans found James (who had a great sense of humour) to be very charming and amusing.* Lily's father and James were both passionate about sports and they spoke non-stop about Quidditch and football. James would also low-key flirt with Lily's mother (Claire Evans) by calling her madame (and she would tell James that its okay to call her Claire) and he and Sirius (who arrived later on during the date) were singing to her "Happy Birthday you don't look your age" (it was Lily's mother's birthday and she looked quite young for her age), something which flattered Lily's mother. Lily's father (in a joking manner) warns them off: "Boys I appreciate your sweet gesture but don't forget, that's my wife your talking to." Both of Lily's parents (especially her mother) really loved James as if he were their son. *Phil and Claire Evans preferred James a lot more than they did Vernon and they got along a lot well with James than they ever did with Vernon, something which exacerbated Petunia's resentment and jealousy of her sister Lily even more.* Petunia was sick of her parents talking non-stop about Lily's boyfriend and what really broke the line for Petunia was when she overheard her mother saying this to their father: "To be honest, he (James) is a far better bloke than Petunia's boyfriend." What are your thoughts on all of this?

I love how the tensness in their relationship is being portrayed. And the way Petunia is changing throughout the conversation. Like she still seems shallow but you can see underneath, that she feels somehow betrayed and also misses Lilly in her way. And I like that theyre not parting on 100% bad terms but that theres some kind of openness at the ending. Amazing acting💛

James having no idea ow to use a phone but doing it anyway to encourage Lily is so precious 🥺 Also, the "you could call" "You could call too" is BEAUTIFUL. Both of them could call, either could be the one to reach out, but neither of them does

this is CRAZY. from james' confusion with the telephone to vernon the nepo baby (to say I cackled at that joke is an understatement) to the awkward, loving, careful conversation. What a masterpiece. The costuming, the camera work and attention to detail is incredible, and you can feel the love and dedication thats been put into this whole project. WELL DONE!!!

This is such a cinematic experience. I think Petunia/Rae is the main character. Her acting is soooo good! She’s such a very convincing Petunia. I love her so much! Lily/Mo is also good but she needs to work on her accent and pronunciations. The accent is not convincing. It sounded like she’s American who is trying so hard to sound English/British. James/Rafael is just James Potter. All and all, this short film is amazing, well done and well thought of. I can feel the passion and love behind it. Well done, everyone!

This was a beautiful film! I think the relationship between the two sisters is very complex and interesting to explore. It is clear that they love each other but they don't know how to talk to each other anymore. Very similar to what's been going on between me and my sister lately. So I relate and this scene made me tear up a bit. Thank you for this!
