HOLY GREATNESS! I can't believe that this is the first time I've heard this version from the "Royal Kings of Harmony" and it is AMAZING!!! God Bless Don & Phil and thanks for the joy they've brought into my life with their music.

The saddest song ever ‘Words in your Eyes’ about parting and tearful goodbyes.Phil sang that sorrowful song of words so true with that smooth velvet voice ,calming face and eyes of blue.no one can better those harmonising brothers united in death they were unlike any others. Best songs ever.

Does anyone know who played fiddle on this

i think it may be don rich if this is the buckaroos backing them, 1972 was 2 years before he tragically passed away

Don Rich had a beautiful rendition, but actually thats the legendary Johnny Gimble on fiddle. Johnny played fiddle with Bob Wills in the 1940s and played this many times.

This is the problem with modern society , This is a song about an Indian maiden , they dropped that , but whats worse is they sound like 12 or 13 year old boys , not grown men who frist sang this song. But thats the problem with the whole of Hollywood, These kind of men , and they dont hold a candle to men like Gary Cooper , Kirk Douglas , Clark Gable Lee Marvin , Jimmy Stewart , John Wayne To name a few .
