The Everlys played their last concert at Ipswich on the 29th November 2005, in this video they sing with a 1951 recording of themselves, audio only i'm afraid, so I have added some pictures, the last of which is the back page of my Everly Brothers Song Book, signed by both brothers.

I've been listening and watching these two Gods of music since I was 13; and thats 51 years now. I wrote in EBI back in 1977 that I'd swop every Everly record I had (I have them all) just to see them one more time at the Albert Hall. I got my wish. I don't think they could tour any more, but an "Un-pluged TV show" to give reverence to Don and Phil would be wonderful.

By all accounts, their Kentucky and mid-Western roots and their Dad meant a great deal to them. How touching when they return to their musical roots and sing these old country songs with such feeling. Lovely.

Precious recording of darlin Phil.....listen to that pure Kentucky voice. Wonderful. Omg....their harmony is Heaven. I just visited Central City, after a 50-year crush on these great men. Yea for the Everly's....the whole family.

I agree totaly, yes I would love to see them again, as their music has meant so much to me ever since my childhood, but they deserve a rest, I wish them a long and happy retirement, and thank them for everything.

Baby boy Phil is so precious with his little Minnie Mouse voice!!! It is hard to believe that they were only 18 and 20 years old when they recorded Bye Bye Love as they sounded so experienced and so "tight". They were so ahead of their time.

I really wish the youtube big boys would realize that WE- the EB fans ,never had Much Music or video in our Day-- when they remove or block any thing related to EB it really isn't fair. they do let all that new MUSIC ( had to call it something !) here though. come on please have a heart.

Their dad introduces the song, then it is Don and Phil aged 13 & 15, then Don and phil Aged 66 & 68 join in to finish the song. Their dad's voice isn't on the song.

Seems like I hear an older, more mature voice on the song. Was that Dad?
