The spring on the M1903's scope, the Unertl, is there because the scope isn't actually mounted properly. When you shoot the gun irl, the recoil and inertia would move the scope forward, so a spring was mounted on civilian versions so that the scopes goes back in place. But the military didn't adopt the spring as they thought it would further complicate it and could get dirty and not work.

Well the thing about the ft300 is that it’s a one shot to the head at almost all ranges so the torso shouldn’t matter cause the head shot damage makes up for it

I used to suck at sniping and did a similar challenge but I had to get 1k kills on all snipers. I improved a lot after that. Then I decided the next challenge to be a 100 kills on all primary and secondary weapons. I’ve finished it if we disregard all the guns that have been added the last 6 months.

One thing that might help is using the alt aim on snipers like still looking in the scope but not so you have to steady aim it. It’s a personal preference but I like it because I can see more and I don’t have to steady aim. 🙂

basically all snipers i just use angled grip, marksman kit and default scope so that you have massively increased stable time (3x more than skele remove stock). and for the ft300 integral supressor, olympic foregrip, hendzolt z24, marksman kit and 6xc is definitely my way to use it
