Sounds like normal bullet journal stuff without the bullets part

The way I've been told about bullet journals, and based on my research, is that they are centered more around tasks and productivity. This is for everything, with no format, except for the index. Might be very similar to BUJO.

Great video… I used to keep this kind of notebook and I am inspired to start a new one and consolidate the stack of largely unfinished notebooks I have on my desk right now. One of your other videos actually encouraged me to start my antinet, which was initially housed in an empty vacuum cleaner filter box. I’ve since upgraded, but owe you a debt of gratitude for making the leap seem feasible. If you see this comment, I would love to know more about your thoughts on how you decide what goes in the everything notebook versus on a bib card, and potentially in your antinet.

I add links to my Zettelkasten (Zedd: Zealously Exploring Dynamic Discoveries) in my journal and I link from Zedd to my Journals. I number my everything journals 1, 2, etc. So in Zedd I have reffs like J2.103-105. I also use my journal for some of my bib notes. Then develop cards from those notes. It's pretty awesome and never feels like a silo then.

Yeah - I love connecting my journal to the Zettelkasten, fun to see how things spring up.

Yes, I use a Blackbook for 14 years like this and I talk about it on my channel. I carry it everywhere I go. Also I am much more dirty in my writing, I allow myself to write however I want, so it is surely not something people would look in awe at, but I get the big effect out of it. Sure it would be cool to have a single purpose, say, diary - but I enjoy the kaos to much.

I have a ridiculous amount of plain exercise books (ex-teacher) and the BEST thing I've done is using some old WGAC toilet roll paper (stay with me) and covering it, so I know that pretty paper is recycled, I know it can be recycled when done, I can see it easily in a bag, or on my dest, and using it for putting EVERYTHING down first. Brain dump, note taking and all round short term place keeper and rather than loose leaf paper and throwing it into an inbox GTD style. Nothing is lost, and I'm not precious about the aesthetics of it. I have a dated journal which I just keep for appointments in the monthly spread section, but the rest is lined paper which I use just like yours for project lists with index. I keep a personal journal for personal reflections... nothing actionable, though. ALL meaningful notes are in my Zettelkasten/Antinet. I'm finding it far superior for recall than something in long form stuck in a book somewhere.

Yep - my notebook is like a scratchpad. Anything can go in it. I am much, much more selective when it comes to what goes in my Antinet.

So when you have to write something down, you don't care which place to write it down to. It seems to be the same idea which is the main one in the Antinet and, generally speaking, in the Zettelkasten.

Kind of - I try to use my Antinet only for developing ideas and knowledge. My notebook can be for information, or working through a problem, or project ideas, todos, etc... I try to be MUCH more selective about what goes into my Antinet compared to my journal.
