對呀，我覺得她一直知道太子只愛小楓，從她落水先救她，打破酒瓶滑倒也先抱住她，放火燒承天門，甩開趙瑟瑟，衝進火海也要把小楓帶回東宮。。是她自已看不清楚，就跟皇后看不清楚皇上愛的是淑妃，還傷皇上心愛的女人，若趙瑟瑟看清楚太子愛的是小楓，懂得幫太子留住小楓，可能後半生還能換得太子的相敬如賓呢。。。原著小說裡，太子最後是賜毒酒殺死趙瑟瑟的。因為趙瑟瑟派人暗殺出宮的小楓。

Honestly, I don't believe that the side princess (Lady Zhao) is evil. She is a product of the husband's lies and games. If he hadn't deceived/used her for his personal gain than she would have remained a good person. He literally put her and her family through the wirer just so that he could obtain the throne. She like Xiao Feng were just pawns in his game, the only difference is that Xiao Feng was loved by prince and Lady Zhao was never loved by the prince. I don't blame her for her actions. Too me, Lady Zhao character is just as tragedic as Xiao Feng character if not more because she never received the prince's love and was used tumbling stone to protect Xiao Feng. Let's all remember that she unlike the two main characters never got a happy ending.

I think Xiao Feng is still more tragic compare to lady Zhao at Least lady zhao's family are safe & alive. While the Princess family had a tragic end her mom's home tribe was destroyed because of the prince she fell in love with, people died there including her Grandpa and other relatives then her mom grieve and died while her dad lost sanity(her brother did ascend to the throne but isn't stabilize yet) & she still need to be given to another country as a peace treaty tribute. She's far away from home trying to learn new culture and no one to back her up yet she remain kind(although the painful part of memory was lost she still regain it blaming herself).

I find this episode the saddest, even more than the ending. Here, all 3 are in pain, Sese who is told that she was never loved but just a pawn he used. The emperor is hurt because he’s told the woman he loves hates him and never loved him (tried to run away too) and the princess because she actually loves him but can’t forgive him. This story is really brilliant, exploring and exposing every angle of the individual’s suffering.

The one who really asked LCY to have heartbas cold as stone is Mr. Chia ( gu jian’s adoptive father). He was the one who told LCY to not be carried away by emotion from early on. I hate him.
