Hi there, as an engineer and PhD. in Neurobiology, this topic hit our desk not long ago and spent significant time testing other various prototypes. While we cant get into specifics without lengthy case documentation here, we’d like to caution those who do consider this option to hold off at the least, on this technology. Though on the outside it appears viable and we know with the best of intentions, our testing has produced a significant risk to life and cognition in 87% of the 100 patients tested, and the damage cannot be reversed. We’re happy to share resources and studies if you wish, or other data from external agency testing which is already reporting what we found, we urge everyone to wait for technology like this, as its proven nowhere near advanced enough to sustain produced stated outcomes. This technology is at least many decades away before we can fully understand its predictability and benefit to human physiology. It’s labeled at present banned in many states which evidence for will come forward in Q4 2025. For case examples or data beforehand however, though much of this information is censored across nation-state lines, we’re happy to share our findings for those interested. Sounds promising, but were honestly multiple decades away for this to mature.

It doesn’t go into peoples brains. It’s an AI accelerator in a SoC form for IoT, automotive, wearables etc and is available mostly as IP. It is not decades away, it has already been used in Mercedes EQXX, NASA, ESA and many other tier one companies.

"Great Value" Seem like golden times for Brainchip and for product developers with edge sensor use cases. Australian bilionary AF offing Au$1m for solution to detect remote bushfires.
