i was at season 8 RLCS and it was the best weekend of my life. 2 of my favourite parts of being part of the crowd were when we all boo'd at jstn for breaking a rule 1 and seeing him smirk on the cams as he heard us. or when we started cheering for every 50 every touch bcs the rocket league was so good. i also spoke with gregan alot that weekend and went round a museum in madrid with liefx which was nuts. i have so many good memories of that weekend

I kind of missed a lot of the broadcast from being at the event, so you end up at watch parties, or in a line for security, or talking to friends, or getting food, or looking for your section and seat, or not having the clearest audio... I just watched this video and it made me tear up. I went to S1, S3, and now this major, and I wish I could go to every single one. I agree with Jonsandman, it's so fleeting, you have to live it up.

Made it to my first LAN at the winter major, i bought tickets to rlcs season 9 world championship and i gotta admit that when it was canceled i was devastated. I can only imagine how the pros reacted to this. But now i can finally say i got to meet johnny boi (the best caster by far) and get my jersey signed by every pro i saw. @@fabreasy304 It might be too difficult/expensive with a crowd there during group stage. There might not be a venue that can accommodate having two separate series going at the same time. This is also a trial period for crowds while Psyonix is still having to take precautions for COVID. I'm sure there are other reasons too.
