Love your playthroughs! The rings add an extra area of cooler temperature in a belt across the planet (cause the rings block out some amount of sunlight) this means plants and animals may have difficulty spreading across that area or surviving there

I've seen some other folks limit the number of species that can be generated to help with the lag

You should proberly turn down mutation chance once things have gotten established so we can see which is the really succesful species

tip have the lowest settings and don't use time skips. timeskips make the game rly laggy. as a mod in their discord server i have gotten a bunch of ppl asking why their gam laggs so much and time skips are often the reason

Again, making mutation so absurdly high really slows things down and makes navigation a nightmare, I highly reccommend lowering it, it will be much better. It also felt like you made some of the seasons change too fast, the organisms could not quickly adapt.

Recomendation: next time, you should consider turning the mutation chances down. It will, 1- Make species be able to populate without instantly mutating. 2- Be more realisitc (lol) and 3- if mutation is high then a species who makes it onto land might have all of their children mutate and not survive on land.

Great vid as usual bud! I do like this game and I hope you can sort out the lag a bit for your sake lol. I've found that pausing the game when you want to move around the map helps me a lot

I love this! I recomend lowering your mutation chance so small steps happens, because you cant fly without taking a step

you can lower your pop cap by the way, if im right it is currently at 500 for the species(total).

Wessel usually adds a new scenario or two after every updates, to introduce the new features. He just started working on a new update which will be released in a few months :)
