Just say Halloween (2018) yesterday. It was pretty damn good, had the old fashioned Jon Carpenter creepy vibe from the original. Also it didnt rely on the jump scares like all modern horror films do now. 8/10👍🏽

I like the jabs at the different masks used in H20. Good God, what a disaster that was, the one the finally went with was definitely ruined by the eyes being seen, and the previous mask just didn't look right. Don't even ask about the CGI mask, a feature they had to implement due to scheduling/budgetary issues that prevented them from being able to reshoot more than they already did.

I honestly loved the 2018 Halloween. Not only is it a return-to-form that appears to have a mask very similar to the original with believable aging effects (looking at you Rob Zombie Halloween II), but the entire premise is just Michael doing what Michael does - go around on Halloween night and slice some folks up. I love that they didn't go into a more convoluted plot, probably since they had John Carpenter as a producer
