Fun fact: The TMNT first started off as an indie comic series parodying Daredevil, with both comics involving a mutagen origin, the Foot parodying the Hand, and Splinter parodying Daredevil's mentor stick

speaking of the comics I have been trying to get into the tmnt comics for a while now problem is every time I find a good starting point it's either the version with the matching red headbands where none of the turtles have separate personalities or it's tied to some other comic series I haven't read so if any of yall could give me some info on which comics I should read I would greatly appreciate it

It's the only one where I really forgot that they were just guys in costumes by the end of the movie (despite the little goofs you can sometimes see.) A lot of the other ones were obviously done with lower budgets, though the CGI ones from the Bay movies honestly look the least appealing to me, despite being probably the most expensive.

I absolutely love their designs in the 2014 film. All the little extra accoutrements, aesthetics and different designs really helped every turtle stand out as totally unique from one another.

Oh yes, Plus the CGI is actually pretty great. I don’t love how muscular and tall they all are, but their over all designs don’t bother me at all and make it easier from scene to scene to know who’s who!

My friends and I are obsessed with ninja turtles. We used to come to school wear turtle gear. We definitely had TURTLE POWER in out blood. I remember our teacher surprise us by dressing as a ninja turtle. I almost cry because that was one of the greatest surprises my friends and I ever got. We used to draw the ninja turtles a lot too.
