the only problem for Jehovah's Witnesses is not to take as an example what Jesus instituted in their memory, which was to eat and drink the emblems in the Lord's Supper! for it is one baptism and one hope of eternal life. Pause at 6:30. I own a copy of the 1984 and 2013 editions of the NWT. I wish there was a website that shows the differences between all of the editions of NWT Bible.

Hi, I got a copy of "Fat Book" through Free Mind Journal. The first one-volume edition of NWT is interesting in regards to the published year when there were not so many modern English translations available. It's very ironical that WTS gave up the earlier translation policy which was allegedly NWT's unique distinctness - almost mechanical slavish literalness.

It is very sad to see a publishing company control people this long. The only real way to shut them down is to keep exposing them. Most of all make the governing body responsible for the child abuse, and child molesters there. Keep taking them to court, sue them! The Watchtower will eventually run out of money, and go belly up. Best Churches direct from the 12 Apostles are Orthodox first then the Catholic faith then mainstream Protestantism. Best English Bible is King James version then the New King James version.

in the printed edition in 2006 all the brackets are removed, I don't know the truth because the organization decided to do it. As a curious fact, only in the English edition this adjustment is made, for example the Spanish edition, the brackets were never deleted.

They're blurry in NWT and less clear but he was blown away " I don't know how you found this out " he exclaimed He then went to the Kingdom hall ( likely talked to a few elders ) forgot about them and went back to his JW indoctrination of " you resist the truth ! Definitely, have a beautiful collection of bibles, great illustrations of what Jesus christ said, it is every word that Jehovah has penned in his word, not on bread alone, but on Jehovah God words, and if people change his words, at least put them in brackets out of respect for Jehovah God, so that he knows what he meant for the wording, and this way Jehovah God would know how to speak in the future, being that they had to correct his words in the pass, which is a very big mistake, all religion's like to correct the bible scriptures, as if they are greater knowledgeably than the people who were teaching before them , that's why I always say, thank God for Jesus christ and Jehovah God, because they knew that people would try and manipulate the bible scriptures, with they reasonings, as if to say we have permission to do so, for our father Jehovah God, but is that the truth, no not at all is that the truth, it says in the bible scriptures,

a bible translation is a work of science : as science means to research it can always be that a certain passage of the bible is better translated in a different way: that depens for example on how certain words were used in other classical literature etc . As insight grows the need to change some words grew also : a very normal proces in science .

Jesus died because he was a man who claimed to be the son of god. Not just a son of God, but the son of god. The Jews understood that he was no Messiah (Christ) because they believed the messiah would be a very high and powerful person, not a poor criminal. An authoritative figure that demands worship and obedience with a threat of eternal punishment in a lake of fire is not worthy of praise True devotion cannot be obtained by forcing people to worship you. There needs to be a foundation for unconditional love which your God does not have. If your god offers me a choice of worshiping him or eternal torture because someone at a fruit, I am not impressed by your god. You want to talk about wicked?
