why can't they time the scm right like svr 06... I mean the hbk since WWE 12 I guess (or svr 11 maybe) keeps tuning the band for additional 2 secs even after the opponent has stood up and looking at him... makes no sense! If you get what I'm saying 🙄😒

Dxsmp the counter time is before the finisher is initiated mate... the strong reversal can come in when it's about to connect... It has nothing to do with giving someone time to counter in between It's a simulation, hbk doesn't wait for 2 secs in real life for the opponent to look at him ;) or infact no other superstar does, that uses a kick

I have WWE 2k17 and the time to counter the scm is when he's about to kick you. In the older games you had to press the reversal button earlier because it was a scripted animation, like all grapples, but here is different. When he begins the finisher at the turnbuckle he does a "wake up taunt", as they're called in the game, then, when the opponent is completely standing and facing shawn, he approaches him with little steps (depend on how far the opponent is) and kicks him, and thats when you can counter. Thats why he loses much more time tuning the band, because since its not a single scripted animation the system has to recognise that the opponent's model is in the right spot

they started the wake up taunt back in WWE '12 or so, so when he goes to initiate the kick the opponent is already off the ground but animation has not finished.

WWE 2k17 has a good roster and pretty good gameplay but it's get boring because there is only three things to do. Universe, MyCareer and Online (which barely works because it lags so much) I wish 2k17 added GM Mode or a Season mode like the old games

Honestly the SCM should look real, not every person oversells. The one from 07 I didn't like that much because of the somersault and the dancing. The new one where he gets tired is my favorite because it looks the realist. But the one where he isn't tired it also looks kinda dumb where the opponent does a spin

Has nobody noticed that they never got Shawn Michaels' tights right? Only Legeds of WrestleMania, I think, got it right... He wore his tights over his navel, you didn't see his bellybutton. I don't know what it was, but that's how they wore their tights back then... Kevin Nash/Diesel wore his pants super high, LOL... Just look at Hulk Hogan, you think he would look right if you put him in regular tights, exposing his navel? I don't think so. For the longest time I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with HBK in the game, when I watch his classic feud with Bret Hart... Look up their Ironman Match, I'd say that's HBK at his peak, and his navel is not exposed... Thasts just the way it was, and that's the way I remember. Something so minor, it's not a game killer, but it sucks they don't have his signature attires in the game.
