I am a Spiritually centered Traditional witch and a lover of history and the Goddess through the ages. I appreciate your very good intelligent documentary . I find a personal relationship with the Goddess very empowering and healing as my concept of God was very damaged by unhealthy representations of God and my own experiennces with mainstream Religion. She helps me to ground and root and connect spiritually the earth. I also incorporated Shadow work as part of my Spiritual practice. Something I learned from Witchcraft. This has been immensely healing and empowering.

Make sure you really do your research. 1) Christianity as we know it evolved from the views and practices of Roman in the age of Constantine I. (Who was only baptized on his death bed. And until then was still a "closet pagan". 2) The early and present Catholics pray to multiple entities and spirits. (e.g. The holy mother Mary, Saint Anthony, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael (last 3 are archangels of different levels) 3) The Council of Nicaea took all freedom out of the religion and laid down laws that fit their vision and when they created the first Bible (all around 900 b.c.) The burned and disregarded books that didn't fit their vision (explaining why they are finding books buried in clay jars . 4) The religion was forced on the public (with no choice) with threat of death. Which is why there was a holy war. (Examples are Constantine I, King James, King Olaf I and any ruler between and after) When I discovered all this and the fact they used Christianity as a weapon not only against pagans but against "their holy knights" (The knights Templar) and the fact no Christian I know even follows the teachings of Christ ignoring the holy commandments doing the whole commit pray and repeat. I denounced the religion. I still pray to the I am that I am (name given in Exodus to Moses) And I still believe in him. But, I will not follow a faithless Shepard who can't practice what he preaches. And a lot of the suspected witches were innocent. The malleus maleficarum was a tool of murder and oppression. You find a person's hands a dunk them in water. Anyone would drown (making them guilty. Put enough weight on a person and they will die. Torture anyone enough and they will tell you anything you want just to stop the pain.

theirs a major problem calling all of these practice witchcraft. while yes modern witches use some of these practices. not all of them in ancient times they would have likely looked vary different and definitely would not have been called witchcraft. it's a bit disrespectful to lump all of theses practices together. not all magical practices are part of witchcraft and not all witchcraft practice e are part of every other magical practice. if your going to make videos like this maybe to better research.
