I like how Stygian Zinogre has his hitzones decreased when in charged state, the opposite to normal Zinogre. On the contrary, he becomes very sensitive to thunder element, although he can inflict dragon blight, so he covers that weakness too. In Iceborne, most of his combos end with a 360 spin, meaning you can punish and abuse him hard with a thunder charge blade (just block, then SAED after blocking the spin). I prefer Stygian Zinogre, but normal Zinogre does give me more trouble, mostly because he chains differently, and I am so used to Stygian Zinogre's combos.

i'm amazed how fast you're getting these out. ik it's basically just you reading the script again and changing some of the gameplay but damn these are coming out so fast that i wish you went beyond only the first five episodes but i understand why

Basically I just go through the script and amend what needs changing. Then I look at my footage and re record what's necessary (needed entirely new MH4U footage because the stuff I recorded last year was in 30fps). Then I re-edited the whole thing from scratch.

changes in Sunbreak: Zinogre charges up much faster and it's harder to stop him from charging so he fights charged most of the time. while charged he can do 2 quick paw slams that create lightning explosions with big AOEs and when enraged he combos that into an uppercut. when enraged he can also do the turn around attack from Icebourne and combo that into a tail spin jump and he can combo a charge into a back land.

I’m glad because I like Rise Zinogre but that was my main complaint about him in base game; he doesn’t spend enough time charged up and if you’re aggressive enough you can completely prevent him from charging. I prefer him over the Iceborne version but I felt he got shafted in base game because he spends 90% of the fight charging giving you free damage windows

@@grimreefer213 I personally prefer other monsters especially in Sunbreak. Zinogre just feels a bit tiring to hunt (especially in anomalies where he would just not live you alone)

Oh yea, the paw slam basically HOMES onto you. You can be half his body away behind him and he'll STILL get you

One thing you forgot to mention about rise zinogre is how it was changed in it's ehnbreak variation, it uses combos alot more in sunbreak and even has one when charged it will do a douhle paw slam then follow with a lightning uppercut

4u stygian is STUPID hard, he’s absolutely relentless and his combos are dangerous, I always forget he can to a tail spin after the back slam. 4U probably has my favorite zinogre as well, it’s a great fight there.

I actually found the 3U stygian much harder to handle back then. His homing balls were legit impossible, in 4U he was easier imo

@akanekurashiki4464 In 3U the balls do home in on you much more strongly than in 4U. The dragon lightning that strikes around him were also random in 3U, unlike in 4U where it had a pattern, so there was NO safe way to attack him when he's charging. I legitimately think Stygian in 3U is one of the worst monster in the series, because it takes one of the most fun fight in that game and turn it into an unbearable slogfest.

I would like to add that with ib stygian just like thunderlord he has an uber charged state, even when he's in the charged state stygian can further charge himself up, thought-out the fight he'll do these weird little twirl after an attack, those twirls are him charging up, overtime he'll build up black smoke around his body and this will allow him to shoot out more dracophage bug projectiles with his attack, he can practically fill an entire area with dracophage lighting when doing his ultimate wilhst in his uber state.

I got into this franchise because of this monster. I saw him a bit before MHW(my first MH) released on mhwiki 😊 and his design is fucking cool. So i had a research what is this monster, what is this game... Thats how i discovered one of the most epic, fun,... game in my life.

My first time seeing him was playing monster hunter stories, his regal attitude and majestic look instantly made me know what my ideal partner would be. I immediately went after capturing it and did just that. Since then it’s be with me on all my adventures till this day lol.

His WorldIcebrone was pretty boring and easy tbh despite it being master rank. Hitzones are easy, can barely combo you because he is slow and his attacks don't track worth anything. Loved his RiseBreak version and especially his master rank version Felt like a real upgrade from Worldborne. He combos you better and his wild spin attack is actually dangerous this time😄 He's also much faster too and far more aggressive.

Iceborne Zinogres attacks also have smaller hitboxes making them easier to dodge and he takes twice as long to charge up compared to Sunbreaks, when Iceborne Zinogre charged up he will also jump out of your way so the charge up wave can't hit you in Iceborne, where as in Sunbreak and Old MH he will stay still during the transformation.

i'll be honest i legit HATE his rise version, all he does is backflip away from me, in World it was like fighting a martial artist dog, in Rise it is like the most annoying game of tag ever World is my fave, since it felt like a true 1 on 1 fight with ups and downs to me personally

Iceborne Zinogre vs lance is my favourite fight in MH. I love this monster. I prefer his design in Iceborne, but something about 3 and 4's color schemes makes him look absolutely amazing in them too I really like his new uppercut in Rise though 😅

i think they just did it to not just sound like any monster roar but to embrace his wolf dog looking which he kinda is i love both roars tho maybe have his iceborn roar when he is done charging and his old roar as just shout

I prefer fighting Apex Zinogre, but Thunderlord is better in every other way. My guess is they wanted something new but then ran out of time and weren't able to give him armour and weapons.
