A while back you showed how to replace a ball valve attached to a loft water tank. Saved me £100 minimum. You'll always be a hero in my eyes 👍

Yes.

I've had a few cordless drills some only lasted a few years before they literally fell to bits, I've now got a Black and Decker 18volt and so far it's ok but if it dies I'll buy one.

Nice looking drill Al but I think if you really need a drill a lot of the time then Dewalt is my choice, but if your not going to use a drill all that much then that one would be a very useful tool about the house.

Not too convinced by this, seemed to bog down pretty easily on a few occasions there

Only on real tough walls using a bluntish drill bit.

At £130 you wouldn’t expect it to bog down.

I see they on the Erbauer battery platform so why pay £130 for a brushed drill.with 2ah battery & charger, when for £140 you can get a brushless Erbauer drill with 2x 5ah battery & charger. P.s Evolution saws are great & good value
@bscott772 жыл бұрын
@@mrnormski9005 spotted that too, I expected it to cost about £70-80 tbh. Much better out there for that price

Jebus, thats a damn noisy charger.
@dereton332 жыл бұрын
It was in a very quite kitchen.
@Fishbait0752 жыл бұрын
@@dereton33 Regardless of how quiet your kitchen is, I've used many cordless drills over the years, and I've never had one that requires a FAN to cool the charger. If it requires active cooling to charge an 18v battery, that must be so shockingly bad power factor/power correction. Big nope from me, I'm afraid.
@vincejm2 жыл бұрын
Agreeded, never saw a charger as noisy as this one. This would put me off buying, as well as, the drill didn’t seem as powerful as others.
