not to be a stickler but question 13 is wrong- the civil war was between the Charles the 1st and parliament. Charles was supported by the cavaliers and parliament was supported by the round heads. The two houses which you chose as answers fought about 200 years earlier in the war of roses. You should correct it if you are hoping to help people. Anyway.. I guess I am ready for my test now.

I have my test in 4 days. I feel the questions you got here are easier than the one that I find on tests online. In the online test there are always too many questions about persons and dates UPDATE: I passed the exam. I can confirm that the questions on the exam are easier than the ones that we find in the online tests. I paid for your course and it helped me a lot to study, thanks Dan

Ladies and Gentlemen... I advice anyone and everyone taking the Life In The UK Test for the first time to subscribe and pay for the full package. This is the best 40quid you would ever spend that would worth it all the way. Dan is brilliant! Teaching technique is clear short and straight forward. I assure you that all the areas he advised to focus on? Where definitely the areas that came out during the test. I was so scared before i started to even study for this.. even while studying I was very scared especially because I second guess myself alot. Thanks for your wonderful work, very helpful and helped both me and my wife to pass. I had an unusual question in my exam yesterday which I was Who was the prime minister to authorise the Scottish and Welsh Parliament in 1999.the options were Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and two other unfamiliar name. Knowing the fact that Tony Blair was the prime minister at that time I chose that answer. I haven't seen this question anywhere else that's why wanted to share with you. Thanks again.

Question 13 really confused me... Yes, there was a civil war in 1642. But didn't the houses of York and Lancaster fight during the other civil war of 1455-1485??

Actually, you are right. The war of the roses was in the 1450s and the war between the Roundheads and the Cavaliers was in the 1640s. Good catch.

Hi, thanks for your videos. They helped a lot and I passed the test today in London. The questions were cca 70% similar that you have in your videos (this and others) but I would like to mention that the wording of the questions are very different so not that straightforward like even in the practice tests. There were 5-6 questions that were quite specific e.g. art deco artist (Cliff) or one of the paralimpics name. I had question about Dundirk and Scottish bank notes as well. Of course there were some "standard" questions. It was very stressful for me and I think the book (with its details) is really suggested to read to pass the test. Maybe I was just a bit unlucky but I felt they went to the details. Finally the most important that I passed. Thanks again!
