Hi both as an ex kitchen fitter we would always use a half round file to cut back the laminate cut it slightly longer than required then use the file if you have a block plane you can plane it down to within 1mm then finish with the file good luck!!! Dogs bring so much to a family you absolutely made the right decision, I have four dogs and yes they can restrict you at times but the positives win hands down, Rosie is just the right dog for your family, enjoy😊😊

Just a note for when you're at "base camp" in Garnham's - there's 3 vets a lot closer to where you're parked up than the vet centre in Ipswich. One of them is literally 1 mile down the road!

Oh how beautiful Dora the explorer is! We lost our black cocker a few years ago, her name was Ali, she was 15 years, with dementia, blindness and back problems. Age took its toll. She went everywhere with us, did so much exploring , she was our baby and we actually bought her in Spain where we lived for 15 years. Not one day goes past without us referring to those special moments with Ali. Xxx They are a great best friend soul mate for you and your children! Be prepared for separation issues unless you start very early training with her. They can be very clingy and obsessive, which is cute as a puppy but will have her howling continuously when separated from you if you’re not careful. Good luck 👍🏻

I like cocker spaniels. They’re gentle and don’t shed hair like some dogs. I’m shocked that Mercedes are being awkward about shipping windows to the UK. There must plenty of breakers yards with spares or try Coparts.

We’ve always had labradors which have been brilliant. We look after our daughters cocker spaniel…. She is a totally loveable, cuddly friendly dog but has so much more energy than we’re used to so be prepared for a totally different dog.. they are so good with children . So Happy for you all. ❤️❤️

I fitted slightly curved glass into my flat panels, the rubbers will take up quite a bit, and a big hammer with a piece of wood along the welded edge can also work wonders, try a camper van builder / converter, someone who does panel vans,

Use a fine file to shape the worktop edges. Glue the first one and leave it to set then file flat the ends. Then stick the second and file to the first carefully. Hope that helps. 👍🏻

If you're having difficulties with Mercedes and obtaining genuine glass, there might be another way... If you search for companies that do plant glazing (i.e. bull-dozers, excavators, tractors,... etc) they can cut laminated glass to fit. You might have to search a bit, as companies that just do modern bonded windscreens might not have the skills. You would cut the panel to the inner line of the rebate so that you keep the rebate piece. An I shaped rubber seal would fit over the metal edge, and this rubber can be cut to any length and glued to make a complete piece that fits. The glass is the cut of fit into the rubber. Essentially this is how most classic car windscreens and windows are fitted. Been a while since I've seen it done, but kids vanadilsed a bunch of machines on site and the glazier fixed them all. Good luck. PS: the puppy is adorable.

Amazing, our last dog was a cocker spaniel and he was a wonderful part of the family. We rescued him and he struggled with anxiety so train lots from a young age. At Christmas we got a miniature poodle, he is now 6 months old and the best decision we ever made. He has just had his first groom and has started losing puppy teeth, we feed on a raw diet and it is working so well. We used nutriment puppy food but you need freezer space for it!

Love little Rosie. What a wonderful addition to your lovely family. We have a 9 yr old Westie who is our best mate and he loves the van. ( except when the windscreen wipers are on!) We could not imagine life without our Wilson. I have followed your travels since you started your lorry build and I am very impressed with what you have achieved. Reference your side windows. Why not get 5mm acrylic windows made up. they can be curved if neccessary and easily bonded with PU adhesive. A good sign maker or sheet plastic supplier should be able to make them for you. I had some made for a hi top T5 I converted a few years ago. Good luck with your puppy training and hope to see you at camper campout at the week end.

My daughter has nonverbal Autism so having a friend/dog is vital! We did Rv life 2020 through last year ( I'm redoing a boat now). After our Chi (Lopez) and beagle (Luca) passed on before traveling I said no more to animals. UNTIL we made it to Dallas,TX. I'd been searching for a blue Frenchie or a Neopolitan Mastiff but went the happy middle when I spotted Sage, the blue bully. She was named Mulan at the kennel. My daughter is still A HUGE Dora fan, so I almost named her that. Being Friday the 13th when I picked up our blue beast, I thought Texas, and world, needed a good saging...😊 traveling with smaller animals is easier. But protection wise, well, we can agree that Sage was it. Hi 2 all yall from us ❤❤❤
