Umineko is on sale on Steam right now, I highly recommend it. It's a bit of a beast to get through tho, so don't go in expecting a quick read or anything.

Anime may be a fair entry point to just absorb the premise, but highly recommend checking out VN/Sound Novel (Indulge in the lush Voice Overs and Soundtrack on Steam as seen sampled here) and Manga which depicts the mystery with pretty great visuals. Extremely good mystery series- the anime doesn't do it justice at all.

Oh, where? The ghostly vocals at about 1:30? That's the VN's soundtrack (The Executioner) before the drop. Essentially a boss theme, appears pretty late in the story. The "go, go, go-" 1:56 is Sonic Rush's Ska Cha Cha.
