You need to call out the issues. Capacitive buttons have been trashed so bad even vw walked it back. These tech gimmicks are not what people want. They want an interior that doesn't creak because it's all plastic. They want an interior that's not built with TV screens that will have sun burn in the first 5 years. They don't want start stop. They don't want a 1984 style camera to spy on you in the car. There are many factors why people aren't buying as many new cars today and the fact that new cars have become more expensive while being built to a lower quality is one of them.

Thanks... I can totally agree with you. Some of us want to enjoy the drive. I'm not sure if regulations or interest groups are the reason behind all the screens.
