He can die, you just have to destroy his original form (that black-mass with red eyes), Lord X almost kill him with that. The reason he always come back is because they only destroy his physical form, as long as his original form is intact, he won't die. (Not to mention that's basically why many EXEs are immortal and can't die by normal means)

I really hope he stops the trope of X and Xeno being the same Sonic exe, when Xeno has no relation to the original X, and the creator or Xeno, has chosen this in order to make sure his character has absolutely no relation with JCHyena, this also happened with “SONIC” or 2017x. Calling him 2017x downright disrespects its creators decision to make sure it has no relation once again with JCHyena. Please respect this decision and go back to making X his own character, plus I don’t know why nobody fucking knows this, but lord X and X are literally just the same fucking person. Lord X is just an older and more experienced wiser X, Joedoughboi said himself “Lord X will always be X, but X won’t always be Lord X.” This is because of the many canon timelines to the original X, which depending on what happens will determine who he becomes. Make the guardians and become more older, he becomes lord X. Become more obsessed with Sonic and he’ll become “SONIC”. However that isn’t all, as there is also him becoming Lord X and creating Faker, then the guardians. Also, he’s called Lord X because he rules over the guardians and his entire world. His name is still X, it’s the same when you own a large population of people, you become a lord.
