True and also comfortability. Alot of it stems from the comfort people have with these 'beliefs'. Like they say in therapy, we have to learn to be comfortable when we are uncomfortable.

Okay, but to argue that, how can you factor in 'chance'. What are the chances that one will make that decision in particular? Or what are the chances that regardless of freewill, something that anyone will do, has already been done. For example decision making, one could have made the same decision as another, tho from two different times in history.

How does this concept apply when you put in perspective, that you are choosing for yourself not to be an 'asshole' for lack of a better word, but essentially excuse another for being one, under the pretenses that theres no freewill and they dont know any better? Wouldnt it eventually come to a point where one has the ability to choose to be better or worse? Put it like this, i KNOW im chosing to be a kind, empathetic, caring person nomatter what the situation is, instead of chosing not to be even tho i know its easier to do so?
