Just waiting for my edition of the greatest film I’ve ever seen and I remember the opening of the film in The State Cinema in Kilburn,London with actual Nuns & Priests outside telling everyone they was going to Hell for watching this film as a kid passing by and wondering how horrible it can be then now as a 59 year old man watching it and bringing all those memories back and thanking god lol 😂 how it turned me into a horror loving fanatic through the stupid banning of films to the great days of finally seeing them in all there glory and for the younger horror generation to appreciate the classics in there glory not pirated grainy copies of the 80’s lol long live the pioneers of the new horror generation

Got mine today. Yes it is just super, the booklet is great, with good information of the main actors, and some about the movie itself. Love the steelbook, and the art cards. The movie is my second favorite horror movie of all time, Rosemary`s baby number 1, R.B is also out soon later this month on 4k, so what a month.

A lovely 4k limited collector's edition of The Exorcist a great classic horror film and nice artwork on the steelbook too. I got the standard 4k not seen it yet but will be watching the extended directors cut when I do.

It is a lovely boxset, but disappointing that the glue has lifted the cardboard on the back of the box. 4:24 I don't understand why they feel the need to use so much glue. The same thing happened to my copy of the boxset.

I need to check them out but my guess is no. It’s the old Blu-ray Discs. What gives the game away is that the USA set never got any Blu-rays and the new Atmos track is not on the blu-rays.

Did the glue cause damage to the slip box? Looked like it caused a bubble under the glossy finish.

Looked like a bubble behind the j card. I do get that on a lot of titles.

Yeah happened to me on one so I lift slightly and warm the glue with a hairdryer. I suppose you could touch the glue on a radiator or something. So when you put the j card back in position, you leave it on permanently? Same with age rating stickers? You leave them on? @@4kCollectivE

Leave the J card attached or if you attempt to remove it go much more slowly than they did.

I just opened my copy that arrived. Mine had way less glue and it was nowhere near as sticky. No issues removing it.

Yes at 1:10 you can see closely and I say the bbfc and Irish board logos are stickers and can be removed.
