I enjoyed this show, "The Expert," its very intriguing and I loved the writing, directing, producers and actors, too. Take care ⚖

My God - did I hear right: “She was wholly wrapped up in herself - she was menopausal”!!!!! Nothing’s changed there, then? Fab series.

Hello there, the memory is a funny thing. Have just watched "The Expert" and was convinced and confused. I remember it in B&W. Then the clouds parted. We were one of the last families to get a colour television in our street. Still a beltin' great programme. Sad that Jeremy Sindon passed away so young

I'm also someone who remembers things in black and white because we were late in getting a colour telly. It's great seeing programmes in colour.

Marvellous scriptwriting gradually constructing the situation and artfully drawing the viewer into it. Followed the nellynog link and subscribed.

Also when everything wasn’t filmed in the dark or had incessant, unnecessary, music playing ALL the time for absolutely NO REASON whatsoever. 😤😤😤 All stations do this now,🤨🤨, once it starts I either switch over or off. Now 90% of the time I go on the iPad and watch old films, plays, and listen to old murder mystery plays/ comedy plays . They’re GREAT.

I loved this series but what confuses me is that I thought the last series had different music. I remember it using Dvorak’s fourth symphony scherzo when I first watched it a few years earlier when I was discovering such things in the wonderful local record library. The first episode I saw was the first of series 3 in 1971 - murder victim eaten by pigs. We couldn’t get bbc2 before that. It was memorable as one of the first bbc series to have a regular black character, played by Valerie Murray, in series 1 to 3.

@@thadtuiol1717 105 Russian agents kicked out in 1972-ish. They inserted the Marxists within the structures running and educating Britain. Numbers steadily increased, until they now control Britain. Government itself is too weak to stop their interference. Marxism is the driving force in Britain today. Which is why a known Trotskyist is Prime Minister. And why the manifesto they "won" the election with, was ditched the moment they were in office. /

I take your point in scientific terms, but if you consider characterisation, diction, pace, quality acting then it is very enjoyable
