I've come to realize that this is not really genius at all. How do we know that the polluters have polluted how much? And how are they Pricing these credits?

You are doing a great job. You are helping Kenyans understand what our government is doing with the campaigns that some have been complaining about President making a lot of trips out of the country. This is one commodity that we need to capitalize on to replace the foresile fuel that we shelved because of cost benefit analysis. I Ruto Manage to convince the world we will be the giant in the carbon market and will pay as much as petrol would have done if not better but at lesser Investments as compared to investing in mining oil.

I don't buy in to all this .. people should have freedom to choose otherwise this will make the super rich have control over the majority poor. We are looking forward to killing small business in favour of the big corporations. When you see what Europe is doing to industrialise, you understand that the whole thing is a scam. Control the sources of food and wealth then you have the control over everyone.

Yes all very well for the companies that buy up carbon credits but I saw a program on the Australian ABC network that showed that the money that was supposedly go to the population who owned the land on which carbon is absorbed for example the rain forests in Papua New Guinea were not getting what they were entitled to and also that the vast majority of the leaders of the separate communities did not understand in any way what carbon credits were about and what they were signing up for. In my mind a money making scam by the individuals who dream up these plans to line their own pockets

Each country has carbon trading regulation. In Tanzania the land owner (Managing Authority) is entitled 61% of the gross revenue 9% is annual administration cost while 30% remain with the Project Proponent.

Carbon credits have been proven to not only not reduce carbon footprint in the environment but also increase it. They are a good initiative but ineffective. However, small efforts compounded create big effects.

Carbon credits have got nothing to do with carbon emissions it's about Wealth transferring So if you want some of this wealth I suggest growing some hemp for every acre of hemp. You'll extract 8 to 15 tons of CO2. The going rate in Alberta for one credit is $30. I'm guessing I credit would be one ton of CO2. So it low in would be $240. An acre at the high-end. 450 per acre.

It's unfortunate that Ruto & his government are evicting indigenous people (Ongiek community) from Mau forest because of this Carbon credit deal he signed with foreign countries saying it's the way to go today. The Ongiekis have lived there for centuries are our people, now they've nowhere to go. SHAME ON RUTO.
