Honestly I agree with his take on exploiting male viewers who carelessly donate their money to female streamers. It doesn't matter whether or not the streamer is taking on a single and attractive personality to try and convince people to donate their life savings in hoping for a relationship, its still the viewers own choices to donate the money. Literally NO ONE is forcing you to donate money, it's your own decision, and you only suffer the consequences of you go broke

This is true, but he fails to realize that this proves his previous points on harassment of most female streamers wrong. If no men were simp losers she would lose most of her audience. She chose this line of work, presents herself in an attractive way, and has benefited greatly from it. But she is going to attract these types of people no matter what and it can't be prevented. If you fixed the problems her audience has, there would be no audience to begin with.
@Bud_Buddha Жыл бұрын
@@ianhackett4142 That’s not a scam. Just because you donate to a hot tub streamer and they do something sexual, doesn’t mean if you donate to a regular female streamer she’ll do the same. It’s the same as donating to a male streamer, to support them. If you donate to a streamer, you willingly put in your credit card details and sent them money, you are completely at fault here, you can’t blame anyone else for your stupidity. No one is forcing you to do anything, if you genuinely believe that, you have some mental problems and need help.
@seanf4178 Жыл бұрын
@@JuiceboxGM24 You're acting like theres a right and wrong to this, they're both bad. Just because someone who is not mentally well is "donating" to a streamer doesn't mean that reinforcing those negative pathways is justified. I don't think anyone is saying donating is bad if its just to for pay what you've consumed. The problem is that there are a lot of lonely dudes nowadays, and the argument is that catching the weak minded ones in a "Trap" and having them invest time and money to an unhealthy extent is a long term problem for them and everyone around them. That being said you could say the same thing with Xqc or any other streamer, its just that instead of just a parasocial friendship there is a romantic aspect when it comes to female streamers that exacerbates things. Honestly everything from paying for a stream, to OF, or anything that simulates human social contact is a 21st century mind plague.

As I stumbled upon the title "The Exploitation of Pokimane", I felt a deep sense of curiosity and concern. Being a loyal follower of xQc's reactions, I knew that he had always been an advocate for fair treatment in the streaming community. I clicked on the video, eager to hear his thoughts on the matter. The title alone was enough to send shivers down my spine, as the thought of anyone being exploited for their talents and hard work is truly appalling. I could only imagine the emotions that xQc would be feeling as he watched and reacted to this video. The use of the word "exploitation" carried a heavy weight, making me feel uneasy and anxious. I hoped that xQc's reaction would bring some clarity and shed light on this matter, and that justice would be served to those who engage in such malicious acts. Overall, this title and its contents conveyed a serious issue that requires attention, and I was grateful to have xQc's insight on the matter.

Learning about how the Western conservative culture that we live by works is huge in understanding these kinds of situations. I'm going to say that around 50% of all men and 100% of conservatives prefer to totally reject looking into that culture for better understanding and instead use oldschool conservative politics to keep being able to degrade women and other groups that the Western conservative culture has been allowed to harass for centuries.

@@bennogb5069 There are so many imbalanced things in the world. E.g. when streamers insult and ban helpless viewers.. People also make money from utterly garbage content while others working hard are hardly getting by. I don't know the nuances of this particular drama, but the bottom line is if someone makes a drama video and someone else sponsors it, they both have to expect some smoke. Even if all of their arguments were perfectly reasonable and poki just went straight to shitting on the sponsor, it's not her endangering their livelihood, they should've knew the risks beforehand. Besides if that was the case, surely the creator would find other sponsors to support them. I don't know the creator's financial situation but if they're a full-time KZbinr, that's already a privilege. I see 0 need to apologize for "endangering the livelihood". I don't know if the creator / their sponsor / their fans said it, but the endangering livelihood argument is just cringe.

I get she being upset about the objetification, but thats literally the reason of her success, the vast majority of her audience watches her because of physical attraction, aint nobody is interested in watching a diamond that cant crack a joke, im not hating, but she isnt funny or talented at any game. Imagine if justin bieber when younger, complained to his fan base(mostly teenage girls) that they only see him as a pretty face, and they should focus more on his lyrics and talent.
