Fantastic series produced by the ABC's Bill Peach in 1984. This is an old VHS recording and hope it is still of interest.

Bill Peach had a way of writing and narrating in a very clear manner. They made a huge impression on me on first viewing as well.

I loved this series back in 1984 the ABC did some really interesting i think the camera man was Phil De Fries.

Thank you for uploading this, I remember teachers would highlight all these explorers when at school in the 1960's
