I just broke up with someone I thought I loved very much. We are not that young anymore and I wanted it to last with this person. Yesterday we prayed that the Lord would bless our evening with peace and love but it just didn't happened that way. This person hurt my feelings when we were together with our families and it was the first time that I felt this way with him. There were warning signs before but I didn't want to see it. I'm hurt today because love hurts but I know that maybe this person is not who God wants me to be with. And then I came across this post you made, assuring me somewhat God has other plans for me. I have been married for 39 n 1/2 years. I left my husband on the 1st day of August this year and began living on my own. I am in constant pain from several health problems and my dr fears i may have early onset Alzheimer's. I also, just recently had reoccurring strokes. Im in bad health....but my God is good! Due to the cover up of adulteries, child abuse from the leaders, I did talk to the pastor and told him all of my concerns, and did everything properly. Pastor Vlad, I was going to ask to speak on this topic, and here you are speaking about it. I love it - Praise God!! I basically want to leave my church of 2-years because there are certain topics I feel need to be addressed and they’re not. For example people are allowed to live with their boyfriend/girlfriend not married while still participating in the Worship Team, which I’m a part of. If you’re living in sin, you are still allowed to get baptized, and 95% of the time the couple or person doesn’t feel the need to change because they weren’t discipled or told about purity standards. Last, they are not good stewards of church funds. To me church funds are sacred and should be spent with humility and wisdom. So I think it’s time to bounce!!

This sharing was timely and helpful. My family was involved with a church for the past ten years, and I decided to leave the church about a month ago. I would consider it one of the most challenging decisions I've made in my life thus far. Understand that our church is a tiny community with about five families. Point 3: Dryness from the pulpit decided for me. The pastor is a lovely person, and the community is caring and loving. Still, my spirit wasn’t fed, and I needed to constantly battle my inner voice of telling myself that as long as I can live everyday righteous life, I should be okay. But the inner voice was getting stronger by the week. I have battled this voice for more than a year, and finally, this year, I’ve decided to go somewhere else. Once out and in the mode of searching, the devil will use all ways to bring guilt and condemnation to bring down my spirit. I had sleepless nights and terrible mood swings due to breaking away from those who loved me-and not having the ability to see them again. However, I know it is the right thing to do in the coming years for my family. Our family is still searching for a sound doctrine, spirit-filled community. The Bible says if tongues are done in the church it should be by two at the most by three and there should be an interpreter. Why would you leave a church because they don’t speak in tongues when it’s never done biblically? Tongues have been counterfeit big time.

My wife and I are going through it now. We asked God if it was time to leave our current church of 7 years. We do love our leaders but we are feeling led to the deliverance ministry. When my church locked down because of the cov!d hysteria, and started limiting attendance, promoting masks, limiting singing, disinfecting regularly, canceling bible studies, etc, I became angry, so I left. I should have been more graceful about my departure, but me and my family just left and didn't come back. To this day I continue to feel slightly guilty for leaving the way we did, especially because i was an usher and i was relied upon for certain tasks. Lesson learned.

this happened with me and one of my close sisters i used to go to church with, i was pentecostal and i left that church ,and felt it was wrong to condemn women to hell for wearing pants. and she told me i was going to hell even though i have a realtionship with God, and i told her holiness is a matter of ur morality and heart not ur closet. she told me i was wrong even though there are women who fornicate in the church w a dress on.

Nice talk Vlad, good to hear an emotionally intelligent and wholesome talk on this subject, I can see you're a good pastor 😊, I wish there was more courage to talk honestly with leaders about how people feel in their church and less sweeping things under the carpet - need to stop calling confrontation with leaders an unchristian thing, as long as it's done in a positive way. I was once going to a church and every single member was a pastor, they had no real congregation and even though I did like hearing the message something just didn't quite sit right with me, it seemed almost cult like and I heard some things that I won't repeat here about them after I stopped going there. I will say this though, one Sunday evening during altar call for the first and last time ever I was tempted to take money from the offering plate. Now mind you those were not my own thoughts, there were devils around and that was the only church I've had that experience at. The rest of the churches I've been to have been great, despite me disagreeing on a couple things in their doctrine they were all a great experience and the people are humble as the church should be.

I'm guessing I'm a true Christian bc besides God I❤his commandments & neighbor as myself & pray much & try to follow his word so what would help is to know all the churches who follow God's word only & don't add or take away from it? My sister is Baptist & says it's the one but don't they say u can get baptized over & over.. bc Jesus was baptized only once....🙏☦️🛐🇺🇸

In 1977 my dad was in this one church group and he was a deacon, but unknowingly as he studied the Word of God he felt that he must get water baptized and he went to the church Rev. and told him that the Holy Spirit leads him to get water baptized. The Rev. immediately confronted him and told him that when he was a baby he was already been baptized and he doesn't need to get baptized again. So my dad felt that it was time to move on and he left that church peacefully and found a church where the Holy Spirit leads the church and not a person. He got baptized and he got baptized by the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues.. The speaking in tongues was so new to him and didn't knew what had happened to him so he was afraid that he did something out of the will of God so he ask scripture from God to get clarity and wanted to know if this was of God and he got scripture in Mark 14: 22-24.

I totally agree with you on this. I have seen people exiting a house and then wanted to return, but couldn't return because of they way that they make their exit. Others returned, but are uncomfortable because of how they exit before. Some even make social media posts endorsing other ministries, then they expected to be taken seriously. There are others who didn't know how to keep their mouths closed as it related to the house that they left, but the worse part is that they had just left without any explanations then expected to be embraced upon their return. Thank you, for addressing this.
