Seasonal affective depression kicked in for me mid August: Sleep disruption, fatigue, hunger, cravings, the draw of hibernation…everyone is different though. Tell your doctor the calendar time for your shift in mood, to be on the safe side. So much love to you, your content is amazing!❤

I was going to suggest reading Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. It really helped me and I think about it every time that depression pit begins to open. Never give up!!

Yes! I completely agree with you on The Eyes Are the Best Part! It just felt so much more like unhinged and yes! I literally yelled at my camera that this book was gay because she was absolutely obsessed with Alexis and she so wasn’t interested in the men who tried to be with her.

I think we should be friends...if I'm being honest, we already are! TEATBP is my favorite horror read of the year. From my review: "Grief manifests in Ji-won as an obsession with the eyes. How they look, how they smell, the way they taste and feel between her teeth and going down her throat. Seeing everything they pass, somehow consuming all the while being consumed." LOVED IT!

I literally just finished Incidents around the house and went straight to your video. The audiobook is read in a little girl voice which makes it more creepier. I completely agree with you and the ending. I was like “that’s it???” I think the book would make an amazing horror movie. So many interpretations of other mommy could be done. Great vlog as usual!!!! ❤❤

Just a warning about the Joanne Fluke series: the fatphobia is prolific throughout the whole series. Usually it’s just sprinkled in here and there, but there’s one book in particular where Hannah is trying to fit into some old jeans and she’s working out with her sister every morning and only allowing herself to eat salads 💀 If you overlook that shit, the series is very cute and fun. Also, there’s polygamy in the later books, which you wouldn’t expect from something like this lol I hope you continue the series and vlog your experience ❤️

I’m so happy you loved Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder! I loved it too! Already has a spot on my list of best books of the year! You need to continue on with the series, the latest few are meh (and the absolute latest is probably getting on my worst books of the year because it feels like it was ghostwritten by someone who only skimmed the wiki page for the series) but the rest are so good and so funny and so WILD! you thought this book was crazy, you’re not prepared for what’s to come 😂
