The Fab 4 Progressing with a Little Help from their Friends

Well the therapy dogs were working hard today, another big session playing in the paddock being positive role models and providing positive interactions for the four shelter dogs; Molly, Chance, Nevaeh and Rosco.
Rosco and Nevaeh have progressed to off lead. It’s so much more enjoyable for them being off lead when they’ve reached that milestone. It’s a joy for us humans too, watching them run and interact with all the different dogs without any negativity. Shadow was on muzzle in amongst the pack for months after her formal training, but the opportunity to experience this kind of socialisation off lead was what really set her up for success. So we’re very excited for Rosco and Nevaeh.
Chance and Molly are still on lead. Molly because she would like to head back to the rooms and would miss out on the opportunity. Chance because he still has a little way to go before going off lead.
The therapy dogs were amazing again, we know how much they’re helping these dogs which is why we express our thanks each week.

A lot of people who adopt from shelters don't realize that it takes a while for them to decompress and longer for them to adjust. I don't think enough shelters educate adoptees about this. Thank you guys for all you do for these dogs.

It is so endearing to see how Koda and Bella are still protecting Buddy and keeping him on the straight and narrow. He is nearly as big as his siblings and as beautiful as Koda and Bella. Very informative video, it is so good to know why something is happening or not happening instead of just being told this is what we are doing and that's the end of the explanation. 🐾💞🐾💞

So many special moments today. At first I thought maybe Buddy didn't come with Bella and Koda. Buddy is getting so big. I saw Buddy roll Miss Red and Bella coming over to him as if to say "Too rough!" They are the best brother and sister ever. Freddie, Gus and Miss Violet in a doggie pile was hysterical. Buddy and Miss Red are so adorable. They are both growing bigger everytime I see them!The wind is so strong not to worry Sam!I can see that Molly is only interested in Jason, whereas Chance is very curious about all the other dogs.A little staffie Pup is very eager to say hello to Rosco and Naveah. I love watching Miss Violet no matter how big the dog she is playing with, she has to be on top. Auntie Sam is having problems liberating herself from some very affectionate pups. All these pups are just gorgeous and so well behaved, they are good role models for our four rescue friends. A very positive and great video, Sam and Luke. Wow look at how big Buddy has gotten. Bella and Koda have their paws full with that little dude. Miss Red just wanted to play with Buddy but Bella didn't want him getting to rough. So sweet. Shadow looks beautiful in her new collar. Love the dogs waiting at the fence for Roscue and Nevaeh to come play. Miss Violet is going to chew a hole in the fence to help them get in sooner. LOL Bella giving Buddy a reminder howl when he plays with Roscue to be on his best behavior. Love it. Gus, Freddie and Miss Violet had a great time rolling around together. Fantastic video Sam, so much packed into this one to even begin to mention, loved Frankie giving you tons of love & kissies!❤ Roscoe buddy, you really are progressing so nicely, you can literally see it before our eyes, so wonderful! As others here have said, something so regal about Koda & Bella, being malamutes, herding group, they do take their job very seriously, but these two take it up a notch at the same time with their little Bro Buddy, amazing to watch them every week, love it! Glad that Luna is comfortable and exercised enough to begin to show who she really is. Exhausting to be intense all the time, wonderful that she can relax and let her guard down. Like all Staffys/Pitbulls, she's made of love, but they are too often raised to be 'tough.' I always feel sad when I meet a Pitbull who has been named 'Tyson' or 'Rocky' or after some other fighter. Too many of them in the wrong hands. Someone is going to be very, very lucky to have Luna in their life, one fine day, and forever. And inside some very tall fencing.

The dog pack really brings a million distractions. Watching Roscoe and Nevaeh stay calmly on lead, then playing with the pack shows their progress. Molly seems to be slow, or worried, or what? Beautiful to watch everyone interacting. Molly is a funny one to work out. Noticed that Freddo seems to be more on alert with Roscoe rather than Chancey or maybe I just don't see it. Nevaeh just wants to bounce and play. Love seeing the little dogs all mingling around sniffing and licking not a care in the world. Great examples.
