Cheers for this, I had no idea it (or The Fab Four) existed. And I now know only a little more. To paraphrase Wikipedia:"In 2007, The Fab Four was approached by Eric Idle to perform a set of shows celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Rutles. The show featured McNeil as Ron Nasty (originally played by Innes), Sarraf as Dirk McQuickly (Idle), Amador as Stig O’Hara (Ricky Fataar) and Sandoval as Barry Wom (John Halsey), and was performed multiple nights in both Los Angeles and New York." Does anyone know any more details? Did Idle approach any of the original band before asking The Fab Four?

There's a picture of all of the original rutles with the Fab Four together so I'm pretty sure they were all on board! Except for Ollie Halsall (who sang dirks vocals and played guitar on the tracks) who unfortunately passed away in 1992.
