the year is now 2024, and it's great and amazing that this band stayed on after 50 years from 74 and there still rocking.

**Powerful Stuff** came out in 1988.. So I'm pretty sure this is not 2008 as Jimmie was no longer with the Fabulous Thunderbirds.. So since the F.T.'s are promoting their "Powerful Stuff" album, this is from 1988..

it's upsetting that the band hasn't played power stuff since jimmy left, it's upsetting to see this band and there new live performances recently, and all there doing is playing blues music it's good, but the band can't rock that hard anymore, like i wish it was 2008 seeing them play this song in the 2000s would be bad ass, why can they not play this song anymore? we're here to rock n roll, not listen to blues, no wonder fans don't listen much to other stuff with this band, I wish they can play power stuff again.

Good song, googled the obvious one from the album that I picked up in a box of cds from a yard sale. The hair gel back then definitely was. Also buddies hair line is pretty powerful stuff aswell. All stuff aside I'm not mad by this find.

I really need a tutorial on how to play this. I have the opening and the rhythm but that's it. So friggin talented. Ugh.

I'll probably get a lot of bad comments about this comment I'm a fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan and I'm a fan of his older brother Jimmie Vaughan I truly believe Jimmy Vaughn is a better guitarist then his younger brother Stevie Ray Jimmie Vaughan is versatile he can play anything you can play Rock he can play country and he can play Blues this is one of his best songs
@jjryan1352 Жыл бұрын
He can sing too. But when you say "better guitarist" because of "versatility" no one is going to support that assessment, certainly not any serious guitarist.

I've been a huge fan of Jimmie Vaughan since the 80's. He's definitely one of the most under appreciated guitarists out there! But he's not better than Stevie Ray!
