The Face tree.

The new owner of the Heart in Hand pub in Swindon England, asked me if I could carve something from this conifer that he'd had to cut down to create some space and light in the garden. I was concerned because conifers are high resin trees and not usually great for carving. Also I felt the trunk was really too thin to carve anything interesting. But I decided the little stubs left from the branches could actually be noses for faces, so I thought I'd give it a go. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
