1:54 There it is. The obligatory Faceless bridge riff

1:53 to 3:00 mark is one of the best I've ever heard in music can listen to that section over and over again with Keenes Vocals just harmonizing and with the music changing too this album has really grown on to me alot and listen to it alot now I can relate to the lyrics like they are part of my life and gives me goosebumps and chills listening to sections in all the songs in this album but that part in this song is definitely my favorite wish we could get another album now and a tour the faceless is the band that got me in Tech metal and overall death metal genre and all thier work is fantastic and brilliant 👏

The Faceless were one of my favorites and I still admire them through thick and thin and same with MK. He is one of the most flavorful modern guitarists and I love the thought process when writing. Transition riffs are so great and he is the master of alien riffs. The production is kind of small in terms of tones but the mix is easy to understand, and clean. Once you home your ears into the frequency its really "vinyl" sounding. Band is a perfect mix of cold and warm. Will always love these guys and the slick writing. Stay string MK! One of my biggest influences and I hope he stays strong to the music despite the hardships of life

I think The Faceless can become the catalyst to make tech-death songs appeal to more people. Keene is a genius in his own right who can compose songs with brutal riffs with the added song-writing that has some pop-sensibility (which isn't a bad thing). When I saw that The Faceless were opening for Dillinger, I felt like it should have been the other way around. Hopefully this album really is worth the wait. Keene, if you're reading this, please continue to make great music for us and tour often. Ken with The Faceless seems like the perfect answer of black metal screams along with Keene's "cheezy jazz-singer-from-hell" counterpoints.

It will happen next year for the 10th anniversary of planetary duality.
@TheRottingElvis7 жыл бұрын
Why would they remaster that?
@cbl65207 жыл бұрын
Because the mastering was never fully completed. Mike stated in an interview that due to time constraints set by Sumerian records, he was forced to master the entire album in one day, of which he literally spent 24 hours straight working on it and as a result, didn't get things to sound like he'd wanted it to due to listeners fatigue from spending so much time working on it at once.

Yeah truth is the mix on the whole album feels slightly too thin/sharp. Not that there is no low end to it, the bass is clearly audible. But the drums are really dry sample sounding, the snare is way too loud at times and the guitars have too many mids. Sadly that's the tech death mix archetype, but the music is amazing
