Lisa Whechel is a really strong Christian Nancy McKeon is Catholic/from a Catholic family (cuz I can't say the first one with assurance) Yeah...I don't think they'd be a couple. But cute, nonetheless. The chemistry between Jo and Blaire was outstandingly well acted.

***** Yes there is a big difference between the beliefs of a Catholic and the beliefs of a Christian. I don't know why people use the terms interchangeably. Catholics believe how they live determines if they go to heaven or not. They accept God as three beings: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but they also worship other figures such as St. Mary. Christians believe that if they pour their heart out to God, and build a personal relationship with Him, they will go to heaven, regardless if they make mistakes. They only believe in the Trinity. Catholics also believe they need to follow the Pope, while Christians follow only the wisdom of the Bible. There's a ton more stuff, so go look it up. They are rather different religions.
