Cindy was the last of the four "lost girls" to be let go after Season 1, and the producers did consider toughening up her character to serve as a counterforce to Blair. Had they done that, Jo would never have been added.

It is so great to see these old shows again it truly takes me back to a childhood that seems so distant. Now we are all those people today. I wonder if a few of them I am in contact with from my own childhood, but just like I wonder about these people on this show I truly wonder About those people in my own life I guess that’s why we all watch this to that time. I wished that molly, Nancy, Jo, Cindy, and sue ann were in this movie. Also, it is unknown who's son Sam is, but he maybe Nancy and Roger's son, because of the dark hair, because Nancy had dark hair. Because everything is genetic, like tisha repeating tootie's catchphrase, and Jamie has the same attitude as Jo. I wished there was another reunion for the facts of life.

Blair and Casey had broken up after Jo and Rick's wedding. No clue what happened to Snake. Although she never mentions the guy's name, you have to assume Tootie's dead husband was Jeff since she says she loved him since she was a teenager.

Keith Alvarez Terrible concept! They never mentioned whatever became of Beverly Anne, Jerry,Pippa, Andy Muffet and George???? In the last season of the FOL Blair bought Eastland and ran it herself, no mention of that? I would have written a BETTER script than this and made a BETTER movie with at least Cloris Leachman, Mackenzie Astin and maybe asked George Clooney to do a mini cameo. You can tell that whomever wrote this NEVER saw a single season of the show and had no clue as to who these characters were. I would have mentioned what happened to characters like Snake and Jeff by actually naming their names.

mrfrogbutt1 In the movie, when the girls visit Eastland, Blair says the new building would have been named after her if she hadn't sold the school. Also, Blair mentions George had worked at the hotel doing maintenance work but left as did nearly a dozen more after him to try their luck in Hollywood. I took it as an inside joke at the success of George Clooney and assumed George had gone to try his luck in Hollywood himself and became a success. And there just wasn't enough time to mention or include every character that appeared on the show. The writer just stuck with the characters that were on the longest.

I would like a continuance of Facts of Life with some of the actors playing , and new cast members playing their kids , coworkers and such . The original Facts of Life was a good show . I truly enjoyed the reunion movie , but a sequel series would definitely make my day .

Wish they could've secured a couple of the other girls from the first season but I guess they were still burned that they were dropped and replaced with Jo after the series was revamped in the first place. And the little references to George, Hollywood and Lifetime were cute winks to the audience.

I know that Molly Ringwald would never have done the movie, but as for the other three, it would have been somewhat inappropriate. Those girls were really no longer part of the inner circle, and it would not have made much sense having them in the movie.

It was intimated somewhere that Blair had turned control of Eastland over to a new president and board of trustees, though she still maintained a stake in how the school was run. Jo always seemed to be busy as an NYPD detective, though in reality, Nancy McKeon was busy doing other projects, and wanted very much to avoid being typecast as Jo. Beverly Ann, Andy and so on simply went their own ways, while Natalie broke up with Snake. This last one is the most unrealistic of all. Natalie had more boy friends than any of the other girls, and here she is being wooed by two great looking guys at the same time. I mean, NATALIE?????

mrfrogbutt1 also, it would be better if there was some references to diffrent strokes, and from that show, Kimberly Drummond, and even remembering how Willis and Arnold came by for a visit, and also, it would be better if Pippa, Kelly, Roy, Andy, Steve, Cindy, sue ann, Nancy, and molly were in this movie. at least tootie mentioned about tisha's grandma, maybe either referring to her mom or her mother-in-law (Jeff's mom). at least rick appeared, since the last episode of the facts of life. also, we got to see that natalie is in new York, since she moved there in the late 80s. also, tootie didnt pass her old roller skates to trisha, or Jo didnt pass her old helmet to Jamie, or Sam may not mention that roger and Nancy are his parents. so it was kind of weird that the other girls disappeared, even their friend, Kimberly Drummond and her family from diffrent strokes. also, ted and Ryan weren't mention. I suggest a do over of this special. :/ :)

Nancy McKeon sort of played a game of seesaw with respect to her Facts Of Life persona. Among all the girls, she was the most determined to explore new horizons, and to avoid being typecast as Jo. This is why she always selectively took part in reunions of any sort, be they movies or even television interviews. To a certain extent, Kim Fields was also successful in branching out (Living Single). Lisa Whelchel was the most embracing of FOL, and even attempted to help create a spin off in which she was the new headmistress of Eastland. (It never materialized). Mindy Cohn also attempted her own spin off as a young career woman in Manhattan (sort of a hybrid of Friends and Mary Tyler Moore), but that failed miserably as a pilot episode part of FOL.
