Absolutely LOVE this! Cathy Maxwell has become one of my favorite of this genre. Don’t love the American accent, but otherwise Mary Jane Wells is fabulous! Also one of my favs ❤

If you haven’t already heard/read it it’s on audiable and they have free trials. I just finished it and IMO it’s the best of the 3. That might be because I’ve spent the last 2 books feeling bad for Gavin lol

She is so wonderful! I love Justine Eyre and Rosalyn Landor too, geniuses who sound like an entire cast - and am discovering more incredible narrators too. 💖

You can search by narrator on audible. 💖 I often do. Ella Lynch the narrator for Sofi Laporte who has a KZbin channel I just discovered with all her own audios is wonderful too! So are Sofi’s books. They are not x rated but very fresh and highly entertaining.

I loved this book. It was a wonderful enjoyable read. I found the characters interesting in that they had interesting twists in their character development and surrounding circumstances. When reading we are often in a situation where we enter into a contract with the author in our willingness to suspend our disbelief for the sake of an entertaining story. There are lots of books that have the ring of realism about them and often require the reader to attend therapy as a result of their realism. This book is not like that. It is fun. It does after all belong to the Regency Romance genre and is that not the nature of this genre? I will be very happy to enthusiastically read the second book in this series and continue the fun.

This is the third book of four. The first two are equally entertaining. I can't wait to read the final book. Also the "first" is a prequel. Happy reading 😊
