I watched a full video, and as a fan of fairy tail, i can accept all of the criticism. You're allowed to have your own opinion on things, especially if you've watched 200+ episode of the anime. Even if we dont see eye to eye on everything, (for example i liked the desaturation) i shouldn't downgrade you based on your opinions. So question answers during the video: Lucy had ALMOST all the gold zodiac keys except for like 2 or 3 (idk if the 13th one counts) because she and like one other person were the only celestial wizards left in their world. Also her mom and herself are descendants of the best celestial wizard to ever live. She also comes into the series at one point through the same portal the dragon slayers did. (There’s a lot more plot points but this paragraph would be have to be more of an essay for that) The saturation I believe kinda came back in the final season as the story progressed. Gray turned evil because he was undercover to figure out what a cult was planning; he did turn back good like a few scenes later because Nastu and Lucy basically broke his cover. I myself have fairy tail in a special place in my heart because it was the first ever anime I watched so I finished the anime but I do have to admit that there are a lot of points in the series where I almost quit. Also if ur worried about the backlash that you’ll get for saying Fairy Tail is bad, don’t because we already know it’s true. We’ve basically endured so much hate at this point that most of the fans are basically num to it. And NO this is not hate, I am just pointing out points in the video where I wanted to answer. :p

I have to admit I stopped watching fairy tail at some point after the fights with the dragons. It's not the I don't love fairy tail. It will always have a special place in my heart since it was my first anine. It just became too much for me. I liked the new style but I didnt like the whole saturation thing. don't forget lucy's dad and even a few guild members died during the 7 year gap... only the older ones though. oh and sabertooth's first guild leader who was killed by sting and future Lucy as well which in later seasons made Natsu paranoid about losing her. and for a short time "very short" gray and a lot of there members died just after the grand magic games when the gate was opened and bla bla bla else... those are just some of the more notable ones

So I had a dream last night that max did a hide n seek called 'random hide n seek'. There was no overlapping theme. It was just a bunch of random assets thrown together. It was with Max, Ross, Sal (purplevactor) and Ashlie. Sal was dressed as a titan from attack on titan. Ashlie was dressed as a dead by deadlight villian. Max was dressed as Peter. Ross was Ross. Anytime someone questioned Ross what he was he screams "I AM ROSS! THE BEST ADVENTURER! NO ONE DEFEATS ME!" Max won by cheating and it was the best.

Ok lemme clarify something: Max only did this because he wanted to make his fans happy. watching this literal YEARS later after actually finishing the anime... i can respect every opinion bUT lucy slander like, girl saved the guild on numerous occasions for ppl to treat her like this 😭😭 anyways say what you will about the show, nothing will change how much i hold it close to myself, it's my comfort show and has been since i was little, so seeing one of my fav youtubers of all time do this(despite it being forever ago and despite the dragging) is one of the most genuinely heartwarming things to me 🫶🫶

One of my absolute least favorite things about Fairy Tale is that for like the first half they were like, "dragon slayers are the most powerful type if mage" then they introduced god slayers which are mages that can kill a god and they made Grey a god slayer. Yet somehow Natsu still beat Grey and the other 2 godslayers

Fairy Tail to this day is still one of my favorite anime’s. It’s one of the first anime’s that I was pretty obsessed with. And I don’t really care when people don’t like it. The only thing I care about is if people are hating on it for no reason. A lot of people hate on fairy tail just because it’s popular to hate on. So I really appreciate that while you don’t like fairy tail you can still see why people like myself still like the show. And this whole video is just reminding me that I really need to finish the last season.

Liam Crack oh there are definitely valid points that people make but in all my experiences talking to people about it they never gave me an actual reason why they didn’t like it. And none of those points are exclusive to fairy tail. Yeah they happen in the show but they also happen in dozens of other anime’s.

Maddy Personally for me, the problems started appearing near the end of the entire series, like the last 1/4 of it. From my cloudy memories, I remember parts where the way they beat their opponent was too convenient, like Laxus’ lightning that surpasses lightning beating the electric absorbing guy, I would’ve settled if it was overloading the guy but it wasn’t or the time lady that was supposed to give up her life, managed to survive in a world of stopped time or something, then helped defeat an enemy. There were also some forced tension bits/ there was supposed to be tension, but you don’t feel it, Gray tried to use the life ending Ice sealing technique twice, and the second time against Zeref, but he was stopped again. There was also that time Natsu tried to end Zeref early, then Happy saved him before going too far. Fan service and comedy can appear in any Shounen story, but it feels to apparent/ in supposedly serious moments in Fairy Tail. It continues in the sequel too, time lady reappeared again, supposedly instant death/ killing techniques don’t work at all, it feels less serious and predictable more than half the time

As a fellow Fairytail, we know and have endured the hate on our anime. We know how many people hate it(even if it is usually the one piece lovers) so it doesn’t affect us as much anymore. Also many people who love fairytail, love it so much cause it was their first anime(after Pokemon usually) so we want to stick with it and love it to the end. Also for the celestial keys question, idk if I’m correct but Lucy’s mom had like three of the keys cause Lucy’s ancestor was one of the strongest celestial wizards ever and it was passed through through their generations to be strong celestial wizards. Also Lucy got so many of her keys from people she was battling and took their spirits from them. Lastly Lucy and Yukino are the last celestial wizards alive by the last season so that’s why they both have all the keys together. Great video max! Hope this cleared some things up!!❤️❤️

I completely understand why fairytail would be controversial to some people and though I am a die heart fan, I do agree that there are some things that aren't the best about the anime. I actually am one of those people who like fairytail so much better than onepeice as well. I did disagree with some of the things you listed but I honestly dont mind because first of all, your playing hide and seek and the fact that you even did fairytail is just amazing. Full respect. Secondly, it perfectly fine to have different opinions on things. And thirdly, one person's opinion shouldn't affect anothers if they really love something. So thank you very much for doing fairytail and honestly can't wait to see the next theme!

I do have to say, I remember very much liking Fairy Tail up until the first timeskip. I also remember liking Lucy a lot, but like. I'ma be real here. That was in the time period before I had hormones to transition and everything's at best SUPER blurry from that time period, so I can't say how good she was as a character. I remember wanting to be her more than anything else about her character though. I'ma read the manga soon just to get closure and know what happens, but let it be known that as a fan of Lucy I'm pretty sure it's because she was a girl with large boobs that I wanted to be because I'd enjoy that.

These criticisms are very valid lol the saturation thing didn't bother me that much because I'm not a huge fan of overly bright anime in the first place, but the thing with the keys was stupid. Poor Yukino only had three of the 13 keys and one of them was Ophiucus, who doesn't even exist to most normal people lol (also, that dragon invasion and Grand Magic Games were some of my favorite arcs outside of Tartaros) (also also, the openings in the original anime absolutely slap and I love them so much)

I watched all the fairy tail episodes up to the dragon fight after/during the magic games on KZbin(don't ask I don't know how or why either) so I didn't even notice the saturation difference but those openings and endings SLAPPED

I will say this, I am a fan of the color change in the Fairy Tail anime, only because the bright colors sometimes did hurt my eyes at times and the desaturation helped a lot. Also Lucy did not have all the keys, she had most of them (in terms of the very important ones), but there were some that she never had and also in terms of Lucy not feeling like a protagonist but more of a plot device, is common in shounen manga and their anime adaptions, since the target audience are males that are not adults.

I'm a fan of Fairy Tail but at the same time, the stuff you're criticizing makes sense as to why. I can respect the criticism. It kinda makes sense and some of it I agree with, I still love the anime but you do make some good points there.

I always see the saturation changes a lot due to the environment (aka the blue/violet demon ice section) The Ice section was darker in color in general but i thought it changes back to its bright colors after that little arc or maybe i just gotten so use to the saturation change and didnt even noticed

I hate how people say that they support others and everything, then get upset and try to force something on those same people they say they support. Idk how you can perceive that sentence but It rubs me the wrong way that max feels pressured to do something cause so many people are trying to force it. The same with the MHA hide n seek, max had said he didn't want to do it but people kept forcing it, and when he finally did it they were upset because of some of the stuff he said about it. I am okay with the show Fairytail, but none of what make and the crew says about it is upsetting cause one: they do make some great points and two: its their OPINION Honestly, I'm just happy Maxs uploads constantly and makes content that is enjoyable. I really do enjoy everything they do cause it puts a smile on my face, and I wish that there wasn't so much toxicity in the fanbase. (Yes I made this comment before actually seeing the video past the intro, yes I did watch Ross' video)

Could you do a Stranger things hide and seek? You could be barb, Charlie be Steve in his work uniform, Ross as El, Pooki as Billy Hargrove and Ashley as Demogorgan. The map could be the middle school with the back fields and the forest.

There is actually a reason Lucy had all the keys. In one of the later arcs it’s revealed that someone has been hunting celestial wizards and killing them. So at the end of that arc there were supposedly only two celestial wizards. One was Lucy who had 10 of the keys and the other was Yukino who had the other two. And there was also a plot where celestial magic was incredible rare. The only way to learn it is to have it passed down to you by a parent or a teacher.

Some things I agree with, even if I love it [aka obsessed with it guilty] but some points I am unsure about. But it's nice seeing similar opinions. The reason why I still love it is my favorite first anime, and also makes me smile and laugh many. I am glad you made this video and did the same thing for me. Made me smile and laugh.

Okay, I know no-one asked, but Imma just say Hiro Mashima actually wanted to keep Lisanna dead. He hated her as a character and saw her as a terrible foil to Lucy, the only reason she was "brought back from the dead" was because all his editors and co-artists who worked on the Manga loved her and backed him into a corner forcing him to bring her back. He wanted to keep her dead because that's who she was; a dead loved one who pushed everyone to be stronger with her memory, but since she just "wasn't dead anymore" the meaning of her character (the part Hiro Mashima liked) was gone and she was just, there. Sorry I posted so many comments XD I couldn't help myself :p (I know so much stupid Fairy Tail trivia I've seen the whole series through like 9 times)

Hey Mitzan I have a suggestion that might be hard to do but I think you might enjoy it if you do Danganronpa any of the three of them. Interesting murder mystery game both can do either mini game of murder mystery or hide and seek. Hope you see this and please do consider watching it to see if you like it to begin with! Do whatever you love and can’t wait to see more videos!
