Beautiful song by an amazing band. Saw them back as a 14 year old in 85 supporting The Alarm in a small venue in Dublin, never heard of them until that day, Today I listen to their songs 100 times more than tunes by the Alarm (with the exception of Dave Sharp's work), Great stuff!

Billy Franks is a Legend. Its a massive shame the music industry in the UK has not recognised him allowing additional exposure that the young guys around today can connect with. His music, his lyrics and style are encapsualted in Eventide, a song which means so much to me personnaly. Thank you emimusic for uploading a true 80's classic, little known song from a little known band but that does not mean they are insignificant. you can keep your x factor and x box's class is timeless.

Just found this little gem in my old 7" vinyl box... and still lovin it in 2020!!! Saw them supporting the Alarm in Manchester in 86 i think... reminded me of a young Paul Weller at the time.. great band... great singer... fine lyrics...
