Because unlike the other tripods that's insides are just hollow and made out of metal, this specific tripods insides turned into flesh because of the water inside of it somehow.

The martians i'vaded earth because their planet was dying so they had no chance But to fight us. Years after the war that they list the war machines that they used became water towers but tge martian pilot got contaminated by the bacterua and brecame crazy. Thr flesh grew and metged in the tripod giving the machine eyes
