I had a hard time getting into the first book because I don't really like steampunk but I absolutely flew through the 2nd and the 3rd book was my favorite. It's a great series overall! I'm glad you liked it too and it's very cool seeing people talk about it!

I'm so glad you did this video. I think you're only the 2nd person I've seen talk about this series. I read it for Faebruary this year and I'm obsessed. I really love it for ALL the reasons you mentioned. It literally ticked all my boxes. It's going to be a series I re-read annually. 😊

I'm ngl the first book is my guilty pleasure book and I love it so much. The 2nd & 3rd book have their moments but could have done more to make their way to one of my favourite series of all time. However tbf I found the Cruel Prince & ACOTAR lacking as well in some books too. I'd say the Falconer series definitely holds up - the only reason why it didn't get as popular i think is because many parts were a copy of the Fever series. However, I got into this series after a hangover from the Fever series so I actually appreciated how similar they were. Plus Kiaran and Aileana are more lovable than Barrons and Mac at times

I'm on the third book, it's so gripping, maybe do a video on how to pronounce some of the Scottish words because as a South African, it's difficult to find the right pronunciation
